My buddy just install a soft court for his kids and it was 20 grand it has a 10 foot fence and 4 goals and I think it has 4 lights poles and one set of bleachers. Really cool set up but I not sure it was really worth that much but then again he has the dough to blow.

can't be that hard. pour concrete to form a basketball court. let it harden. put up a hoop or 2 and there you go.

if you want the real arena hardwood used in the nba though you'll be spending thousands.

most worthless investment ever, especially in the state of indiana with harsh winters. And yes, I know who the original poster is.

15-20k range.

Speaking of courts. I did a google earth over Beverly Hills out of boredom. Nearly every home has a tennis court. I could not find one basketball court.

It was almost nausiating to see so many homes congested together and almost all having private tennis courts.

I was thinking about doing the same thing a few years back. One guy came over and gave me an estimate of around 5 grand. This doesn't include the goals (anywhere from $500-$1500 apiece). Then about 2 weeks later another guy came over and gave an estimate of 1500.
So just keep getting estimates. I would guess there are a lot of people who can do this type of work that are laid off or whatever and can really use the business.

Southern Indiana weather is much milder than Northern.

I am shocked at the prices that you guys are quoting.

Matt is just talking about a cement court. I am still sticking with my original guess somewhat.

I will increase it up to $2500, but I am not going any higher than that for a cement basketball court
