i've used both
i personally prefer brands that costco carries
costco rebates were awesome although they did drop amex (or got dropped by amex)
either way that was a major killer to my gas cash back (i think it was 3%)
costco food is definitely better; although sam's (at least in nola) carried chili for the hot dogs (and that seems to vary based on different sam's) which i really liked.

i currently use sam's but that's only bc nearest costo is 1hr away

I dont have a Sams here but i love Costco. Not only do you save tons of money with an executive membership you get cash back. Just got direc tv through costco and they gave me a 300$ costco gift card for doing it through them. I think you will like it !

I am close to both, within in an hr drive there are at least 2-3 of each. And they are always within close proximity to each other. I am talking like 1 or 2 miles. Both are great. Some locations Sams is better especially for parking. But just with products alone, I think I prefer Costco. Either way, cant go wrong.

Costo has more products and runs a better overall operation, but the membership is more expensive though.

What if I want a BJ?

BJ's>Costco>Sams

Tough luck. BJ's got ran outta town by the arrival
of Costco here years ago. Sam's has been here forever, but appears Costco is the go to now...Kirkland's brands are pretty dang good for the price, especially the deli meat, and the liquor, as the bourbon is leftover Jim Beam, and the vodka, leftover grey goose...

Costco by a mile, IMO.

Their prices are similar, but SAMs shells out Walmart quality while Costco is much better. The most important food items for me are meat and produce (probably 80%+ of my diet). Costco is much better in both areas. Walmart/SAMs finds the cheapest cows and corn they can find and ships it here from the other side of the world to save 2 cents. Grapes and tomatoes lack flavor and go bad the next day.

All I see is one level of membership.
Sams had 2.

Do they have just 1?

If the $55 is all they have they are cheaper then what I was paying SAMs

I watched the first 2 ep. Plan on watching the rest. What I saw was good.

It gets way better. His mom and brother, Dale, and the Costco chick are all gold. I was surprised how much I liked it.

can't watch it on demand right now if you have FRONTIER...and used to have Verizon until last Friday when they switched!
Can't believe I'm probably going to switch back to TWC.

Baskets is good TV. The type of humor, probably isn't for everyone, but I like it.
