Sure Slim that was 4 years ago and I was commenting on current conditions! Mexico is looking weaker right now and no Jamaica this time around. The US is easily the class of this field, but winning it means absolutely nothing. Here I made a nice comment about your team having a good chance of advancing despite its recent disasters and turmoil and I get grief for it???

FIFA should make that one and add two teams from asia and europe

Bill I think it will be a close race and the three clear favorites should be US Mex and CR in no particular order. All three are pretty even. Panama surprised everyone but should fail. Guatemala blows (period) and Trinidad will be te punching bag of the group.

In theory, US Mexico and CR advance without too much struggle.

Sad thought is one of the bottom three will have a chance to make the WC. In some cycles I would say CONCACAF deserves 4 bids, but this isn't one of them. Jamaica not being in there makes it much easier. If Trinidad hadn't made the comeback this would have been a joke, with St. Vincent rounding out the group. As it is I think the top 3 teams won't put out a full squad too much so results of the group won't reflect true ability.
