Can someone who is maybe watching the game or knows anything about it explain to me why this is an actual close game?

I am not watching the game but going into the game I knew that Cornell has some very capable ball handlers on their team. They are well coached with tournament experience. Mizzo applies that full court pressure which i think falls right into what Cornell wants to do and that's push the ball and find open looks beyond the 3 line. So far things are playing out this way and I actually look for it to continue. I think Cornell will continue to play tough and actually have a shot to win this one outright.

Personally I have no understanding how or why anyone thinks they can hang with Mizzou. They've been blown out by Sienna, Minnesota and Indiana. I believe Mizzou is far superior to any of these 3 teams.

Honestly this game was never really in doubt...I've watched the last 5 or so Mizzou games, and they often start off playing tight games then pull away in the 2nd. This is because they are a very, very solid team with lots of weapons and a very team oriented approach. They are not vulnerable to big runs by their opponent and they just keep plugging away.
