I'm curious as to how one would go about collecting for example, Carib's 1st prize of $75,000 offered in their Football Challenge Contest? Have been reading that under the Patriot Act, banks are required to submit to the government SAR's (Suspicious Activity Reports) on any deposits that are uncharacteristic of the customer's normal banking activity. This applies to amounts even less than $10,000. If there is as a series or pattern of significant amounts, the banks are required to notify the Feds or face prosecution resulting in heavy fines. Now it might be a dilemma that we as bettors wouldn't mind being confronted with, but how would a contest winner go about securing his winnings without coming under scrutiny? Interested in reading viewpoints.
