I'd like to see Venus win it but Serena never cuts Venus any slack and she won't here. Serenas all about her legacy right now. She's going down at the best female player of all time and she's gonna make sure it stands a good long time. If she can beat her sister she will but Venus is one of the athletes on tour who can actually run and hit with her, her strokes are just more prone to breaking down especially the forehand. If it holds up she could be in it.

I remember watching the 2008 Wimbledon Finals and thinking Serena is throwing this due to all the uncharacteristic errors. Next time they met which was at the 2008 US Open I even predicted Venus would throw it to return the favor... sure enough she committed error after error after error (45 unforced errors in total) so Serena would win. Wouldn't trust these two to play on the up and up when facing each other.

Doesn't Serena reach some kind of milestone if she wins this tournament? Sure she might want to give Venus one more unexpected title win, but I don't know if she can afford to give the match away at this stage in her career. Certainly a possibility though.

Serena is currently tied with Graf with 22 GS titles so a win here would put her in sole position for 2nd place. Next win ties Margaret Court's all-time record of 24 so she does have a lot to play for.

Look, if it's on the up and up, Serena should crush her 6-3 6-3. But if it's closer, you have to start wondering if Richard ordered her to lose cause Venus winning would be a bigger story (first GS title since 2008) than ho-hum Serena winning again.
