It's already legal in the rest of the civilized world. So just a matter of time.

Makes you wonder why Donald Trump never brought this up at all... he could've locked up the election single-handedly just by having conversations about it and wanting to legalize it.

I wish it were that easy, I don't think it's a game changer

this initiative is being started by new jersey and openly supported by only a few
other states. there is hardly a groundswell of legislative support or strong
public opinion to think that this idea is nothing more than increasing
national awareness for the future with little or no chance of making
any difference in the near term.

Either gambling or legalizing weed, it's shocking we haven't really heard either candidate go into this hardcore, especially Trump. If he were to go on long spiels in these last 15ish days until the election, ya never know. If I was on his campaign, that'd be one of the first things I'd have him build his emergence around.

You go to any bar anywhere in the country, theres always people with action on the game. Anywhere. It's the giant elephant in the room that so many millions of people want legalized (just like with weed)... if someone in that campaign is smart, they'll have Trump's last hail Mary be speeches around saying how he'd be seriously pushing for both to be legalized if he were elected. Probably too late (in terms of people thinking he'd be genuine about those pushes), but if that was a top priority on his agenda from the beginning... I think there's no question he has A LOT more followers on his side. Significant.

Im a good example of that actually lol. I hate politics. I don't like any of these candidates. But if one of em, from the beginning, exhibited that they legit care about trying to get weed and gambling legal, I'd jump on their side instantly. Probably plenty others like me in that regard

Adelson is also against legalizing weed. He just gave $1 million dollars to those opposing the legalization of weed in Massachusetts.

Bye Bye Offshore and Rx forum I guess..

No way

Forums like this will only explode again.

Also there's no rule stating sports betting sites have to take on offshore sponsors alone or at all.

Legalization would only open the floodgates on sponsors...

Unlike in years past, there are now big names & $'s on the other side against Sheldon Adelson.

In the article, a man who truly knows his stuff, attorney Daniel Wallach, said this...

“Best-case scenario: one to three years. Outer limit: three to five years,” he said. “In 10 years, there’s going to be legal sports gambling. You’ll be able to bet on games inside the arena using mobile phones. But without the stakeholders involved, nothing meaningful will happen.”

Being an owner of a forum like the RX will be lucrative once legalized sports betting is legalized.......some big companies will advertise along with casinos.
