That was on Alex Smith. A real QB is calling his own stuff in hurry up. Alex dependent on the sideline. He limits a team so damn much.

But the staff knows this....why always so late in getting the plays in. Even in first half they are left with no timeouts.

wasn't talking about 4th qtr comebacks Willie.. talking about the play itself...Tom doesn't have that kind of mobility to make that kind of play... Not saying he doesn't do a lot of things well...just that particular play isn't possible

How is it dumb ? Did I say something that's not accurate ? my dumb ass comments had nothing to do with winning or losing, speaking of dumb comprehension

Rogers a better athlete than Brady and everything else is all Brady! Aaron certainly in upper echelon but half his legacy on deep blind heaves that turn out fortuitously for GBP. Yeah he's done a ton of highlight reel shit but he ain't Tom Brady.

Best Ever? I'll just put it this way. You get to a certain level and once your in that small circle of greatness....once you're in you're in. Brady is in, Joe Montana is in (by the way, can you really come up with a better name than "Montana"? and be Great at the same time?!, Manning is in (you make your choice but it can't be both), Elway, Wilson, Bradshaw, and the underdog Warner squeeks in. Not all Super Bowl QB's are the greatest as confirmed by many a debate such as Joe Namath and a QB standard at least should be judged on if they have won a SB.

In the Elite QB Of All Time if there ever was such a award in that inner circle of QB's I think curently it would end up being Tom Brady vs Joe Montana. Greatest two to ever play the game.

Clarification. I know Joe Namath won a SB but he was by no means one of the greatest to play the game.

well, Rodgers has won 2 MVP's, same as Brady, in a lot less time... maybe its not a bad comparison

the Jets won the SB ,, Joe was a QB for that team

Through many a debates over the years it can be agreed upon Smokin' Joe really is not one of the greatest. He was mediocre. We all know that. He won one and became famous for predicting the win but as far as being one of the best to play the....."game".....NO.

PUt whoever you want in the small class of elites. But at leas one qualification MUST be a SB win. Having said that, how did they do in their career?

Jets won the game 16-7.. seems to me that the defense got overlooked

In a given year in the NFL, any of 10 players could win it. Odds are against defensive players (see Davis-Kuechly) on a winning team and lean twrd QBs and offensive 'weapons'. Plus I tend to think that Rodgers had excellent rcvrs to deal with, brady not so much. Both had to endure alot of drops this year however.

Maybe you misunderstood. When I say the "game" I don't mean the SB. I mean how they play each and every game they ever played in thier career. The Elite are the one's who reached the SB trophy at LEAST once. Only requirement. Joe Namath got great at the right time. Good for him.
