That did seem like a very odd move. P5, SEC coordinator leaves for power 5 northeast team/basketball school. That's a head scratcher unless he just wants to run his own offense, his own way. It would allow him to grow more.

That's the excuse that both Gus and Lashlee gave, but to take a $250K pay cut?? Seems odd. I think the kid has a bright future. He's really only ever worked under Gus, so he probably does need to spread his wings. Just seems odd to take that big of a pay cut and go to such a lower level program. Seems like he could have gotten an ACC or B12 job just as easily.

Agreed. If i make that move its to somewhere that there is a ton of talent so I can showcase my offense. TCU was looking for a new OC just a week ago until they hired Sonny Dykes. Similar system to Lashlee and far more talent considering TCU is located in DFW metroplex.
