playing Conference Tournament Futures the rest of the way since ATS got off to a slow start in this area this season for whatever reason which is usually not the case.

Here are the Conference Tournament Futures I'll be playing.....The first question I'll ask in each conference is the favorite beatable and then I'll look at several other things to follow...If I think the favorite is really legitimate to win their tournament and odds are good enough in relation then I will use them too...Going through all the conferences now as the Futures on the tournaments are up..

First one I put in the other day and already wrote a writeup on it in a different thread if you want to read it although they don't play their first game until Thursday.

4.8 Stars Risked to win 4 Stars for possibly 8.8 stars returned on Florida -120 to win the SEC Tournament

Going through most of the conferences (there were many) in my opinion Florida looked like the strongest favorite in their conference tournament (although odds-wise others were bigger favorites in other conferences by far believe it or not) and the odds were fair enough so I'm taking a chance with Florida.....Some will say that Florida has won too many games in a row and they are due to lose one before the Big Dance, but their only miscues so far were early in the year on the Road and they lost by 6 points and 1 point...Furthermore, Florida has beaten the #2 seed in this tournament (Kentucky) by Double-Digits Twice. Florida gets the winner of A&M and Missouri in their first tournament game and Florida has beaten them both by Double-Digits, including A&M by 33 points in their first meeting...So what about the #3 seed you say, Georgia? Florida beat them by 22 points earlier this year...How about ther 4 seed, Tennessee? Florida beat them twice, including once by 26 points......Florida won barely on the Road at #5 seed Arkansas, but that team usually plays over their head in that building....So the SEC Tournament is here in my hometown and as in my opinion Florida looks like the strongest favorite out of all the conferences (although odds-wise there are others with bigger odds in other conferences believe it or not) so I'm taking Florida to win the SEC Tournament and I'm risking 4.8 Stars to win 4 Stars for a possible return of 8.8 stars.....Best of luck.

1 Star Risked to win 5.8 Stars for possibly 6.8 stars returned on Cincinnati +580 to win the American Athletic Conference Tournament

Taking a shot here with Cincinnati in the American Atheltic Conference Tournament.....Louisville is the chalk to win this thing, but Cincinnati at big odds has a chance if they somehow get to the Title Game and Louisville is waiting for them.....Why? These are two major rivals that are really familiar with each other as they only a little over 100 miles away from each other...This was further indicated when they played each other this year where Cincy beat them by 3 in Louisville and then the Ville returned the favor by winning at Cincinnati by just 1 point...So I'm saying even if it got to that point you are getting great value on a team in a rivalry game with a title on the line.....That said, if Cincy gets to the Semifinals they get the winner of the UCONN-Memphis game which won't be a picnic although they have beaten Memphis by Double-Digits twice this year wheras they split with UCONN in tight games...I'll take a shot with the Bearcats at this price with risking 1 star to win 5.8 stars for a possible return of 6.8 stars....Best of luck.

1 Star Risked to win 2 Stars for possibly 3 Stars returned on San Diego State +200 to win the Mountain West Conference Tournament

I'm going with San Diego State here as the Lobos of New Mexico are the favorite and trying to win their 3rd Straight Mountain West Tournament Title....It is possible the Aztecs might have to play UNLV on their own floor in the Semifinals, but the Aztecs beat them twice this year.....San Diego State showed a lot of heart the other day as the Lobos were up big on them in the 2nd half, but the Aztecs came back and got them.....This is the same San Diego State team that won AT Kansas earlier in the year which is never easy no matter who you are. They also beat Creighton earlier in the year as well...........I like the mental toughness and heart of this Aztec team and hopefully that will pay them dividends if they are to get in this situation again during this elimination tournament.........Thus, I'll take San Diego State where I'm risking 1 star to win 2 Stars for possibly 3 stars returned on San Diego State to win the Mountain West Conference Tournament.....Best of luck.

2.5 Stars Risked to win 2.5 Stars for possibly 5 Stars Returned on Georgia State +100 to win the Sun Belt Conference Tournament

I'm pretty familiar with this team obviously.....Georgia State took the Sun Belt by storm this year posting an impressive 17-1 conference record...Due to that high seeding they get to start this tournament off in the Semifinals which is a reward for their great season....The #2 seed Western Kentucky also gets to start off in the Semifinals, but they lost twice to Georgia State this year by 18 points and 23 points....Georgia State has 4 guys that average in Double-Figures and ALL 4 of those guys shoot 80% or better from the Free Throw Line which plays an even bigger factor with new rule changes and possibly close games down the stretch.....Some from around the country probably haven't gotten the chance to watch or hear this team like I have, but this team is pretty good and the fact that they start off the tournament in the Semifinals means if they win 2 games then they can win the Sun Belt Tournament so I'm going with 2.5 Stars risked to win 2.5 Stars for possibly 5 Stars returned on Georgia State +100.........Best of luck.

Value Updates on my Futures.

Got some great value on Georgia State as I got them at +100 last night.....They are now in the -130 range to win their tournament.

Cincinnati I got around +580 last night and they went down closer to +500 range to win their tournament.

San Diego State is still where I got them last night although New Mexico went up and closer to their price...

Florida is actually a little better price now than they were last night to win their tournament although its close to the same where I got them last night to win their tournament.

Conference-USA is in process and my futures team Tulsa debuts tomorrow.

Tomorrow's Games on the Futures Tickets For Teams I have to Win their Tournaments.

Tulsa +480 Futures debuts in the Quarterfinals against Tulane.........They only played once this year and Tulsa won the first meeting by 26 points....I'm pretty confident Tulsa will get to the Semifinals after this game....

San Diego State +200 Futures gets the winner of Utah State-Colorado State who are playing right now...The Aztecs beat both of these teams twice during the regular season I'm pretty confident that the Aztecs will reach the Semifinals after this game as well....This team is a remarkable 27-3 and still ranked in the top 10 and deservedly so in my opinion as I think they are legitimate with a lot of heart while being mentally tough...You don't win AT Kansas by accident or come back from some games they did where they were down big by accident.

Cincinnati +580 Futures debuts tomorrow and gets the winner of Temple-Central Florida tonight...The Bearcats beat both of these teams twice during the regular season and smoked Central Florida both times they played so I'm feeling pretty confident the Bearcats make it to the Semifinals although I would like them to see play Central Florida tomorrow since they destroyed them twice already this year...

Florida -120 Futures plays their first game Friday in the Quarterfinals

Georgia State +100 Futures plays their first game Saturday in the Semifinals...

...............Basically all 5 teams in my Futures should make the Semifinals at least or I would be really surprised and there is really no excuse why that shouldn't happen.........Obviously, it will get tougher once they all get to the Semifinals..

What Georgia State does well is take care of the ball and shoot a high percentage from the field and free throw line. The Panthers average only 8.4 turnovers per game and make 77 percent of their free throws, both among the best stats in the nation. They're good on 47 percent of their shots from the field and average 78.1 points per game.

"We don't turn it over,'' Hunter said. "We make free throws. If you take those two things and you do that every single night, you're going to win 80, 90 percent of your games. We've got talented guys. Our defense is stellar in conference play. Things have gone well for us.

"At the end of the day, we don't turn it over and we make free throws. I know it's a simple thing. But that's been the key to our run. If we get behind it's easy because we don't turn it over and we make free throws. And we get a lead we usually put you away because we don't turn it over and we'll extend the lead because we make free throws

.......................
So basically the Georgia State coach is saying they don't turn it over and they make free throws LOL ....Actually, its good having his son on the team as he was the Sun Belt Player of the Year and Georgia State has 4 guys averaging in Double-Figures and those 4 guys make 80% or more of their Free Throws and two of the 4 hit over 40% from 3 and two of the 4 average at least 17PPG (including their Kentucky transfer player)..

It seems not long ago you could drive through downtown Atlanta right through their arena and not even notice if Georgia State was playing a game....This year just a lot more buzz...Hopefully, they win 2 more games and punch their ticket to the big tournament.

So I get to root for these teams playing in other games usually against other high seeds so it sets up nicer for the team I have in the Futures on 5 different tournaments.......For instance, right now I'm pulling for Central Florida because my Futures team Cincinnati destroyed them in the previous 2 meetings this year so I'd rather have Cincinnati play them tomorrow if I had to pick....Obviously, on other side of the brackets away from my team I'll be rooting for other high seeds to go down.....So yeah I'm getting action on these 5 tournaments I have teams where there are Futures on even when my team is not playing.

Even better...........Both teams going to Overtime and will be playing a rested Cincinnati team tomorrow night I have in the Futures to win the tournament that should be able to advance to the Semifinals..

Tulsa in the Futures debuts tomorrow afternoon as well and as I expected they are favored by double-digits so yeah they should be able to advance to the Semifinals you would think...

San Diego State in the Futures debuts tomorrow afternoon and they should be favored by a lot as well against Utah State so I expect them to advance to the Semifinals

Florida in the Futures debuts in the Quarterfinals on Friday.

Georgia State in the Futures debuts in the Semifinals on Saturday.

Tulsa +480 in the Futures up 17 with 5 minutes left so looks like they will be in the Semfinals as expected...

Meanwhile, San Diego State +200 in the Futures is putting on a defensive clinic here in the first half and is up 21 points already....When Xavier Thames (Mountain West Player of the Year) is on they are even tougher to beat so at this point looks like they going to the Semifinals as well as expected.........Cincinnati +580 in the Futures plays later tonight and should be able to get to the Semifinals as well.

This is a massive beatdown...Great job, but still 2 more games to go for the Aztecs........
Alright, San Diego State (+200 in the futures) please rest all players when it gets to the 10 minute mark....You made your point up 34 points with 12 minutes left....Clear the bench...Save some energy for the next 2 days of the Tournament...

Now I see why I got great odds on Cincy +580 on the Futures and Louisville was heavy chalk to win the tournament as the Ville is up 50 points in their first game.......However, as I pointed out in my writeup days ago on Cincy was the Bearcats are big rivals with the Ville and they even beat them by 3 points in their place before the Ville returned the favor and beat them by 1 point....First though the Bearcats gotta take care of business tonight and then have a possibly tough Semifinal game with the Memphis and UCONN winner....Basically, if Cincy somehow gets to the Final and faces the Ville they have proved twice this year they can play with them (even beat them one of those games and lost by only 1 point in the other) and really familiar with them as rivals....First though, let's go Bearcats and take care of business tonight and advance to the Semifinals.
