Let's start with tomorrow's game as just a side play for UCF +7 (medium) I think most of the forum is on the same side here but I don't want to speak for everyone....

now onto the totals

Temple @ Tulane 44 points-
Temple is the better of the two teams in my opinion because of their stranglehold defense, but both offenses are inexcusably bad. The weather in New Orleans calls for rain showers and I expect with the caliber of defenses being showcased here, especially temple, I find it hard to believe this total goes over, or anywhere near it. Temple just held cincy to 14 in a loss, and thats arguably the most explosive team in the conference. lets roll the dice.
my pick: under 44

ok state @ oklahoma 59.5 points-
i think this rivalry game will be a shootout. Let's be honest a lot of people hyped up the Sooners defense and we found out they are just a little above average defensively. I don't see either team being able to consistently stop one another. Oklahoma has a potent rushing attack and will obviously start there but expect ok state to be extremely feisty and put up their fair share of points... A 31-24 game is very possible here and I think this total is easy to eclipse.
my pick: over 59.5
lean : ok state ( only if it gets to 21)

la tech @ Marshall 68.5 points-
well marshall lost to w. Kentucky last week 67-66 on a last second fadeaway.....wait... I mean, two point conversion. This was a 7 on 7 manning passing camp. Defense was entirely optional and w. Kentucky was able to grab 4 picks... Had they not, Marshall may have literally scored 94 points.... Un-fucking real... La tech just hung 73 or some crazy amount as well on rice. A lot of people liked rice in that game too... I don't buy trends or stats to much, but I do buy into streaks, momentum and other things like optional defense lol. There's a little rain in thebl forecast, but I think Marshall has been exposed defensively, and I see la tech scoring a lot of points again...however, la tech beat down western kentucky, but they rely almost entirely on throwing the ball. La tech hasnt faced an offense like Marshall with rakeem Cato at the helm... It's doubtful that they will be able to slow down Marshall much at all. I'm sure as soon as I bet this game it will become a defensive struggle lol, but the over should be the smart play here in my opinion.
my pick: over 68.5
Lean on la tech +11.5

SMU @ uconn 45.5 points
no way you can honestly play a side in this game... If you do, you've got bowling balls for nuts. Smu is terrible, uconn isn't much better but they play good defense. Rain showers in the forecast and Uconn's natural surface field hasn't been mowed since 2003 when the school cut their landscaping budget...everytime I see a game on tv their, it looks like a swamp, with cat tails and all... With the weather and bad offenses im taking the under in what could be a battle of the kickers.
my pick: under 45.5

houston @ cincy (Paul brown stadium, natural surface) 57.5 points
this total seems ridiculously high to me but then again I've been drinking some whiskey at 93 proof for the last hour, so what do I know.... Houston is incredible when it comes to forcing turnovers and playing defense. These guys are the definition of ball Hawks. I think last year they lead the nation in turnovers forced or turbover differential... Whatever, they're good again this year. Yeah yeah yea, cincy is explosive... But werent last week against temple.... This reaffirms my so called theory that cincy is a completely different team when facing a legit defense.... I love good defenses when it comes to game like this. Houston can score a little but cincy's recent trend of improving defense has come against the 3-4 bottom of the conference opponents , and ecu is not good defenaively either as we all saw.... Plus there is rain in the forecast and it's gonna be a little chilly in the low 40's... That stadium is on the river and I lived in that area and know the wind picks up frequently in that region... Factor in all that shit and I think we are looking at at 26-20 type game.
my pick: Under 57.5
leaning more and more towards houston +7 as well FWIW

BOL TO ALL OF US DEGENERATES... I'll pour another glass for you all. Godspeed gentleman

cheersgif

To hell with it, I just hammered la tech +11.5 for 100$.... I think they can hang with Marshall if not win out right... They are hot, they play more consistent defense and are clicking on all cylinders, Marshall just got reamed with no lube, this could be another barn burner

Bookies don't sweat bullets. They fire them at players who get too wise. You obviously do not know how bookies really work. Your wagers are laid off, for the most part. All they care about is their cut, and you give them their cut, one way or another. If you use a bookie, do you ever get legitimate odds?

Bigdaddy, once again bud, im not brand new to sports betting, I fully understand how laying off the bets works lol...thanks tho man. And yes since he is a very small time guy who doesn't have an extremely large bankroll he is sweating bullets. I'd say his operating bankroll is around 3k. As we stand now im up 1,200, with an additional 600$ sitting in limbo... Half of which I will get paid today. He's already reduced the amount I can bet each game all the way down to 100$ and won't take anymore parlays from me. I'm not a large or big time guy but I've been very successfull this year in college football and the few NFL games I've played. He's already told me, if i hit more than half these bets it's going to likely shut down his service for a few months. He's been very honest with me thus far. I'm not always going to win, I've been doing this long enough to understand there are many peaks and valleys.. You have to ride the waves. Which i do. Most of my winnings stems directly from parlays, im not as good when it comes to large single bets, so it's entirely possible all of these bets could be a bust.... Only time will tell. BOL to your action. On a side note we use scores and odds app. I can't play money lines, only totals and side plays. His juice is standard 10% for singles, nothing for parlays, I would assume thays standard for most bookies

Well... they don't tell us directly..... but the things they say make their childish approach crystal clear.

Cue BigDaddy to come on here with his same old song and dance act telling us we're all just small potatoes with our little bankrolls. He loses more money on one bet than our entire bankrolls combined...Oh wait

It really doesn't bother me what people think I wager on games..I've been very honest this whole time about how I bet and how much. My conference championship picks are my biggest bets thus far and I know full well I could take a giant hit and that 1,200 could vanish.. Fine with me. But my winnings are true and so are my bets. I don't have a bankroll large enough to play "dimes" on a specific game like some people on this forum claim, although I wish i could..other guys I know actually do have that money, if so, congrats! .. I wish I could play that type of money too, trust me! the 900+$ I have spread out over all these bets this weekend could make me or break me. lets just see how it goes guys, BOL to everyone's action

I don't want to mention names.... But not referring to you at all A2q.

But some of these guys.. I guess they think to mislead people to think they are big players..... they feel like that gives them some credibility.

Just the opposite.... when ignorant statements now and then let us all know they are full of crap... these guys just become a bigger joke!

Gotcha packer, and I agree.. There's always people in lofe who like to ruffle feathers. No big deal, but I do agree it gets annoying. A few guys on here are the real deal and I do believe their wagers. I just try to be honest with everyone. I've got nothing to hide lol, just trying to bring in some extra xmas money for my fiance and son lol. i could use a nice bottle of scotch too. If the ducks cover I might get a nice bottle and put it under the tree for myself to open xmas morning lol

GL Quacker -- I think eyeball test you're leaning the right way on those totals. If TEM/TULN happens to get to 45 I'll def. take a slice of Under pie. I'm a little worried OKST doesn't contribute enough points to put that game Over -- my line is pretty much right on that total. LT/MRSH -- man, anything can happen there. Like you said, MRSH's defense got exposed and LT's offense suddenly came alive -- that casts some serious doubts on the small spreadsheet value on the Under I'm showing. Not playing the HOU/CIN total -- my number is pretty much right on and neither team very consistent at anything, really.

I'm really kind of hesistant to do anything on this game. We've got Cody Thomas at QB with the possibility of playing without our best WR Shep. The defensive coach and secondary have been inept. And we already know what OSU is going to do on D. Stack the box. But they are also playing with a backup QB. But he at least looks like he can complete a forward pass. At least he did against Baylor. But that may not be saying much either. If Huepel was smart OU would just slam the ball with Perrine all day and eventually wear them down. But Huepel has never been accused to being smart. He's called some of the most mindboggling games this season that I've ever seen.

I have said this many times before and I will say it again. It is no one's business how much money anyone puts down on a game. For those of you who are not familiar with wagering (and that means more than football), you play the game the same way, whether you are wagering $5.00 or $5000.00 The amount that you wager should not be a factor in the team you play. You guys drive a Toyota. I drive a Ferrari. Bottom line. Both of us get to our destinations. It really is that simple. If I ever run into any of you guys, I will be glad to buy the first round, be it Bud or Brandy.
