Buzz, you still backing these posts at SBR? Curious because of Barry Clark's recent posts in here this weekend saying all is being taking care of ...

11/08/03 Sportsbettingtriva - Currently 18 slow pays credit, 2 payment plans postup - many new slow pays expected soon

Talks with Sportsbettingtrivia to catch up slow pays fail

I'm still waiting for a small Neteller, however Barry said to contact him today about it and I expect it to be resolved without any problems.

Buzz got them on the run-list, a bit harsh imo.

Give him a break.....he has had to type 49+ words on his website the last two days. Let him rest.

I dont put too much stock into the ratings over at SBR. They have many of the Guardian books rated low and I have always recieved my money from there w/i 24hrs. w/ no questions asked.

Didnt SBR report the same kind of garbage about Royal not too long ago???

I recieved a neteller payout from Trivia last week. Got a FedEx payout yesterday.

I also submitted a neteller payout for $950 this morning.

Indeed SBR has gone way overboard on this issue. You wonder if there are other hidden agendas going on. Jazz we appreciate your candor in bringing bad books notice to the players but it is time to back off and give these guys a break. I have had several timely payments by Safe Deposit Sports over the last 6 months. If you look at their rules and regulations it states that payouts will occur at $2500 Max. and if you are inactive the Max is $1000 per week.

Boston: thanks, but actually I already have backed off (my 'backoff' post is in one of the other SBT topics) - the reason I posted this was only because I happened to notice that Buzz still had this on his website and wanted to know what the deal was.

Interesting rule: I didn't see that nor did Barry ever refer to that - are you saying it says the max payout is $2,500 per WEEK?

Boston: their rule is actually this ...

"Maximum Payouts will be $2500 per day per customer, unless the customer has been inactive for 7 days. Then the maximum payout per day is $1000."

The rule actually states $2500 per day for an active account and $1000 per day for an inactive account which is defined as not having played for 7 days.

Bull Dozer is the one who started this issue which has now become overblown. He could at least apologize and indicate that everyone has been paid to his knowledge unless he knows differently.

There is not much to add. This book is in trouble on all fronts. If they can keep all the balls up in the air they might survive. They have players on payment plans and credit problems. So if this is the kind of book you want to play into then by all means send them your money and enjoy.

Actually, it was a moderator named Fishy here who started it by mentioning problems in a topic last week, and I kind of took the ball and ran with it. There were valid complaints about what was going on, including a post from D2bets who outlined those very problems occurring to him over a period of about 2 months. The only reason for my posting was to ensure that others became aware of this and to hopefully gain some attention from the folks at SBT to correct the problems, and this has apparently worked - which is good. Mr. Clark stated flatly that '7 to 9' (or 10??) problems like that were due to a 'rogue' employee.

I'm assuming nothing negative or positive here, just curious - I know Halifax got paid yesterday which is good news.

Buzz: "Talks with Sportsbettingtrivia to catch up slow pays fail"

I assume you spoke with Mr. Clark on this? In what manner did the 'talks fail'?

Jazz,
SBR proposed that SBT commit to pay all slow pays/payment plans within 48 hours and SBR would withhold the downgrade. We were trying not to make the situation worse. I think the dialog was in good faith but in the end they did not want to, or could not commit to catching everyone up that fast.

Jazz's post could be construed as a good thing. He wanted to see if in fact all payouts were current since SBR was warning us while SBT told us all is current. There is nothing wrong with getting a definitive answer.
Deciding weather to play there is one thing, getting lied to is another.

Apparently everyone posting here has been paid. Anyone not paid please post so that this can be put to rest. I believe this book has bright and innovative ideas that it is trying to put to test such as the trivia question. I have an account here and once again not one problem since I joined in April.
