Hi all.

I want to describe some situation I got with www.sportsbook.com and I would like to hear some advices from knowlegeable people.

I played at Sportsbook quite a long time without any problems until I requested for withdraw part of my account (actually $3,000).

I live outside USA so I deposited money via Bank Wire and requested for withdrawal via Bank Wire, too. Then I made BIG mistake: while requesting I gave them wrong account number!

So I admit that I made some big mistake. When I discovered it I immediately sent them email with corect account number but it was too late - the transfer was processed already.

Damn. From here I knew that it will be a delay. We exchanged several emails and they told me that the proccess of making corrections can take up to 8 weeks. So here is the question number one: is it looks like truth? Eight weeks is extremely long period for doing the corrections in the payment, I think.

Today 18 weeks has gone. No money still received. Moreover, when I tried to chat with his online service all that I hear as a response is "Dear sir, we don't know where your money are but we will email you soon". And I hear this everyday. Everyday I'm asking them but they have nothing to answer.

So the question number two: is it possible that something is going wrong from his side?

Once more, I admit that the first mistake was mine. I also fully understand that this mistakes can lead to delay with the withdrawal. I just can't believe that such standard procedure as correction of the transfer details can take so many time. 18 weeks is just unbelievable!

Last time when I chatted with them they told me that they do not know where my money are but they "actively tracking the payment".

Any advice on how to deal with them will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Konstantin Bushin.

It's BS, I've had a wire sent to the wrong number before. Took my bank, Washington Mutual, less than 2 days to reverse it and send it to the right one.

I agree with Wil. This company is so f-in cheap, they make an attempt to get out of all their payouts. They look for any excuse not to pay the players! Just stay on the pricks, maybe they will tire, that is their strategy so play the same game!

i suspect you are getting a bit of a stock answer because they will obviously wait for the funds to be returned before they send a new wire and they cannot control how long it may take -- especially with a foriegn bank. it may be a couple of days or it could be weeks.

i would contact your bank asap and let them know about the wrong info you gave - hopefully the account # you gave is invalid so it just bounces back... and does not belong to another person and get deposited in the wrong account.

good luck...

Can we get more feedback on sportsbook.com.

Jay L: Are you being sarcastic?

Eric17: Can you elaborate. This is a big statement re a big book. Can I here the whole story as I have a balance there. Thx.

Konstantin: I have had slow-paying wires on 3 or 4 occasions because their wire form online does not have enough boxes for account instructions and my F.B.O. instruction have to go into the "comments" box and are often ignored or un-noticed. These occasions have taken the better part of 2 weeks to repair (money has to be returned to sportsbook.com and then start over...I assume). They do not take wire instructions by phone so I have no way of avoiding this and frankly, it sucks but I have always been paid. I can get a check from them quickly but then there is a 7 day hold fgrom my bank so what is the point. On several occasions I have had no trouble getting a quick wire.

Let's hear the beef gang. So far, except from Konstantin, I am only seeing provacative statements without much backing-up. Maybe I'm still too new here but I sure haven't seen complaints re this book before.

Having a lot of customers does not make you a good book, timing has so much to do with being successful. And other contributing factors such as the stickyness of a name, sportsbook.com. They are average at best! And we see this time and time again with troubles with payouts!

My post (smells like bullshit) was directed towards Konstantin Bushin and not the sportsbook, or bank. He sounds like any number of phony, I can't speak English to well, morons that come on here every few weeks.
