2-1 (+$58)

Well, I think it a bit ridiculous that there were 106 people that wanted in, you accepted 100 - and even gave the 101 guy a freebie (?). So five of us didn't get to play, yet there are 12 by my count that haven't even posted a play yet and probably many more than that will give up very soon after bad starts. Regardless, I will continue to post my plays (and record) here in protest.

B. Arroyo +136 UNDER 9.5 -111

I'm on the Yankees -144.

YOu can do as you wish, it was stated at the start, that it would be limited to the first 100 posters that signed up, the thread was up for 3 days with open spots, before it was full..

I most obviously cannot control whether 12 people put in a play or not...

And yet, the general still gets to play at 101. Even he didn't think it was fair, but hell, you guys stick up for each other, so screw those of us who don't post every 10 minutes throughout the day and have 10,000 posts.

Hey, I'm all for free contests. The site does a decent job at organizing and running them. Your time is appreciated. Honest. I didn't see the thread until it was too late, so I guess I need to be on here daily or I'll miss something. But this doesn't make me actually want to come around more, rather the opposite. It does seem a bit clique-ish in here to me, but that's just my opinion. I haven't been in a free contest for a long while. I don't bonus whore or just lurk for contests. I was interested in a baseball only shot and just didnt check every day for one. My mistake I guess.

I just think it was unfortunate that the contest was capped at 100 when there were only 106 interested.

But I'll still be posting my picks and secretly hoping I wouldn't have made the cut. I'm betting it goes the other way however. Oh well.

Dude, i will make you a deal, that will make u happy....I will message the General right now, and let him know THAT HE IS NOT ALLOWED TO MAKE HIS PLAYS EITHER.....this way you will be able to sleep at night, and not have to worry over that...

You are ABSOLUTELY CORRECT, he did not want to make waves, and be allowed in....I told him to go ahead, because i think after ALL HE HAS DONE for players here, and the fact that he is by far THE POSTER WITH THE MOST POSTS at this site, he should be allowed to be in, AND I ASSURED HIM THAT NO ONE WOULD HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT..........AND NO ONE ELSE has had a problem with it..........But since you have mentioned it twice, it is really bothering you, AND IT WAS THE RULE, i will make sure that he is removed from the contest.....NOW ,all is right with the world...

Thats how us "clique-ish" people do...

Another good point....The fact that i asked the site owners to "donate" 2000.00 cash to the posters, and they agreed, is a great reason to make you NOT want to come around more often.......:103631605

Good work bucsfan and what Bromo said that particularly stood out is so true. As the Mod team here at TheRx, we will definitely stick up for each other. It is called Team Work and it is a great tool.

Good luck everyone.

Bucs, you are being ridiculous now and blowing this way out of proportion. But whatever. OK, I'll play along. You see it as general should be allowed since he posts more than anyone and deserves to be there. He is here multiple times a day and didn't manage to get signed in. Someone like me who visits maybe a couple times a week and didn't see the thread, well that's your reasoning for keeping me out? Isn't that ass backwards? The general should have known about it and still did not sign up. I signed up at first opportunity. Whatever.

And you say noone else is complaining. Uhhh, that's because almost everyone else that wanted in, is in. Even Pete Jr. complained though, if you are keeping score.

And instead of notifying general privately about it, you make sure to make me the blame and catch any hell by announcing it to everyone several times that since I have the problem, oh well, sorry general. Lol. Grow up. That is a perfect example of how clique-ish it is here. If you can't at least see that point, you are blind.

I don't care about the damn contest. I wanted to make one *small* statement about how I thought it was unfair and quietly make my picks. But not you. You want to turn this into a pissing match. Fine, you win. I think it was a lot more important to you anyway.

Yeah, I think you're a joke. Now someone edit this because hell, we can't have someone outside your little group in disagreement with one of its own.

Just curious, how did i make you the blame?

When YOU are the one that posted about it twice....

Its more important to me than it is to you?

You are the one that posted about it twice, and was worried over it...

General didnt sign in, and he is here daily?

Just another reason you are wrong...General did not sign in, because he did not want to take a spot from the posters, and said he probably would forget to make the plays anyway, since he is usually busy when on here....I am the one who told him to sign in once it was full, and he could be the "honorary" contestant, for all he does......That way he wasnt taking a spot away from someone, and it wouldnt matter if he missed his plays....He agreed....

You were trying to make a "small" point about it?

Posting "under protest" in each of the daily threads, is a "small" protest...

Ok, whatever, the JOKE is through with this......I will keep doing what i do, and bringing contests to the MANY appreciative posters we have here......SORRY that bothers you so.....

Best of luck, THE JOKE has to get some rest now...

By the way, I QUOTED it for you, so none of the "clique-ish" people couldn't "delete" it, since an "outsider" has a differing opinion..

as i said before - when BromoX does just 1/100 of 1% of the things The General does - he can b*tch to his heart's content about anything he wants.

I still have received no answer to my question regarding my 04-12 play. I picked the cubs. They were rained out. The game was played the next day (game 2 of a doubleheader). The Cubs won. I did not get credit fopr that. The rules have nothing clear about that BUT the Rio contest rules discuss such a situation. Obviously, we would want to be consistent among the rules for the various contests, would we not?

Bill, if your game is rained out, then its a "no play"...

If u can get another play in that day, "before" the deadline, after a rainout it will be accepted......

That is also the reason why we have a "minimum" plays that is below the number of days, it covers a few rainouts....Also, just so everyone knows, say you are real unlucky, and make 34 plays, and 10 are rainout, then u WOULD NOT be eliminated due to the fact that you slelcted over 25 times, just had bad luck.....

The reason for the difference in the rules in the contests, is the fact THAT THE CONTESTS ARE DIFFERENT, WITH DIFFERENT FORMATS....The reason u get credit in the Hollywood Contest is because you HAVE THE SAME TEAM the whole week....So if u are rained out on Monday, and they win on Tuesday, they still won, while they WERE YOUR TEAM......

And as i stated in the rules of that contest as well, if your game is rained out on Sunday, and played on Monday, YOU WON'T get credit for it win or lose, because you no longer "have' that team as of Monday....

I played Pittsburgh with Fogg as the pitcher you listed. They didn't lose until after they took him out of the game. I don't see why that should be counted as a loss, my play was only for the game while Fogg was pitching.

I would like a take over for this blatant misleading information you supplied. If not, please refund my membership fee to the RX and also the entry fee for this contest.

Also, the rules are listed in a thread called 'contest rules' , not 'King of the Hill rules'. You are purposely trying to confuse people. Oh sure all you mods and insiders know what it meant, but what about the rest of us? Why am I 0 for 3? This contest is fixed, just admit it now.

P.S. If I go 0 for the month do I get a prize anyway?
