Asking for thoughts on this. Since the NFL doesn't want these games to be 28 - 0 at half and 14 million households flipping the channel to college basketball or American Pickers and then have to explain weak ratings to advertisers, do you think there is an unwritten and unspoken rule for zebras to throw a lot more flags on a team that might be getting the upper hand early? More offensive holding and pass interference that they might let slide but if the Patriots for example are up 24 to 3 with 8 minutes left in the half they suddenly call them. Kind of like the old Nascar "debris" caution flags to tighten up the field when Bill Elliott or Richard Petty or Cale Yarborough was pulling away at Talladega....

NO conspiracies.
And excessive bullshit flags and the endless stoppages they engender will disgust and turn off far more people than uncompetitive games.

I'm not a regular NFL viewer. I find the game boring anymore with the power and control the refs have. But I watched those 2 games yesterday and it just reinforces how much I dislike the NFL! LOL. 2 really bad games. And I say this having bet Atlanta and Over and Pgh and Over!

Yeah so much for that yesterday in those blowouts, I ended up watching some American Pickers. Not much they could do in the Atlanta game as predicted here GB's decimated secondary couldn't cover anybody and made Matt Ryan's job incredibly easy......
