Rio will keep you posted. The final details have to be worked out, but management was thinking of something along the lines of payouts going to anyone who can rattle off between 5-10 winners in a row. The stumbling block is a scenario where multiple people end up playing the same games. Any feedback on how to structure the contest would be great. Initially, we were thinking of a free $50.00 account to anyone who gets 6 straight best bet winners, followed by $100, $200, $300, $400, and $500. We thought, however, that if people all ended up taking the same games that this would be a serious problem. Please comment.

everyone makes their picks winners move on losers wait til the next round....
you can make 3 plays daily or you could draw it out with 1 play daily.

Winner is the person with the least amount of matched plays.

if a tie occurs in that instance, the poster who posted their plays first wins.

Also, sence it is a every day thread, do you plan to have us post every day in order to win? I would think that you would have to do it on a weekly basis because you could have people waiting a day or 2 for the perfect match up to post.

You could try a points system where the players start out with a set amount of points and the players could make the same plays, but the players would most likely post the same plays with a different amount of points depending on how strong the players felt about their plays. This way you would have players with the same plays but even if the same plays win you would have a winner regardless because of the points. You could say the players win the most points within a certain timespan wins. You could also set the min. and max. amount of points to be played on the plays. This way the players could keep doubling up and set themselves further from the field, but they could also lose it all. This is a little complecated or you can also just have the players post their plays and have the contest like a suicide by with three lives or whatever you want.

how about you can only pick a team (celtics, spurs) once a week. this would make players play different teams instead of the same team every day. you should also allow over\unders on the game as well.

definitely LOVE the idea of an ELIMINATION type contest that was mentioned previously!!!

These contests are always the best there is - very competitive, always exciting.

If the contest is desired to be extended further, than a number of strikes can be offered before elimination. I've seen contests work effectively with 3 or even 5 losses before getting eliminated.

Tate thanks for the suggestions, Rio Schil you have my IM addy if I can help. In the mean time the thread is starting to get better everyday. I am sure we can come up with something like total points to break ties. What I would not like to see is people posting at the last minute to avoid copy posts. Anyway right now there are 3 posters on 4 game win streaks all posting totally different plays.

if you end up paying for 6 in a row get ready to start shelling out big bucks. The guys around here are alot sharper than the people at wagerlines survivor contest. 6 in a row over a 6 day period is common over there. IMO
