Any preference DC or Marvel?
I know people get passionate in the debates over "who is better" but I have always just enjoyed them both.

But I am really excited for the Flashpoint movie. For anyone that doesn't know. Flashpoint is when the Flash went back in time and alters the time line. Similar to how Biff did in Back to the Future 2. Flashpoint is what they call the alternate timeline and in Flashpoint, Bruce Wayne was killed as a kid during that robbery, not his parents. His dad snaps, becomes Batman and is consumed by fighting crime. His mom snaps and goes the other direction and becomes the Joker...

Gives fans sort of a fresh take and a new spin on the same characters. Hopefully it is good.

When it comes to the quality of movies, Marvel by far.

I always liked Comic heroes & villains, but never actually read them much, so I have no opinion there...

Mark, the same creator/author of the originals also wrote flashpoint?

I don't think so... I think Flashpoint came out in the 2000's. Possibly around 2010 or so. At least that is when I first had read it. But after I got older than 15 I didn't keep up as much. Many of the comic stores died out in the 90's. They are making a small come back but alot on digital downloads now too.
