Declining to prosecute Comey on this issue doesn't seem to be a big priority , its a small piece of the pie , compared to whats coming down the pipeline.. I think i get the strategy of holding off on prosecuting a smaller crime , with the bigger crimes still coming...
Why not indict Comey now and add any additional charges later?

Say it isn't so Don.

President Donald Trump said the Department of Justice's decision to not prosecute former FBI Director
James Comey reflected well upon Attorney General Bill Barr, while also saying that Comey “got Lucky!”

“The fact that James Comey was not prosecuted for the absolutely horrible things he did just shows how
fair and reasonable Attorney General Bill Barr is,” Trump tweeted. “So many people and experts that I
have watched and read would have taken an entirely different course.”

You call Barr fair and reasonable. I call him corrupt and gutless.

some are saying that this report is just a small piece of the pie.. some are saying that this part of the case might be harder to actually get a conviction.. gray area ….None of us here know that either way.. I'm willing to wait while the other investigations get wrapped up..... If nothing happens with the other investigations , I will join the chorus of boos... For the record , I still see dominos falling

violations and breaking rules probably aren't crimes.... the rest of what he did , probably isn't worth prosecuting at this time , if the bigger fish and the bigger picture is still in play.. why prosecute a lower level ( not a slam dunk ) case and put it in play with the bigger case coming down the pipeline ? DOJ could actually change their mind down the road if it would help with the bigger case and add more charges

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), ranking member of the Committee on Oversight and Reform, released a statement
following the Department of Justice’s Inspector General report on James Comey’s handling of the Russia
probe and said it is clear that Comey “believed he was above the rules of the DOJ.”

Jordan uses the term "believed" as to infer that Comey wasn't above the rules of the DOJ when he clearly
was and still is.

Joe DiGenova is a fool if he thinks the Kenyan will be held accountable.

Comey, Clapper, Brennan, Obama were all in on it. They didn't like who the American people chose as president, so they took it upon themselves to overturn an election trying to frame Trump. Ultimately, they failed but the damage they did to their institutions and country is enormous!

If Spygate isn't treason I don't know what is.

The bastards should all hang from nooses!

The way Barr is handling this reminds me of the way Boehner and Ryan used to do business.
String you along with false hope that they would actually stand up to the Democrats only
to fold like a cheap suit. It's Déjà vu all over again.

whatever happened before means nothing ….The crimes that were committed with fisa etc and blatant spying are out of the bag.. No way that this can be given a pass....Justice will never be the same if nothing is done here...

So far it has and until I see Comey and Rosenstein indicted for amomg other things,
falsifying FISA warrents, I will stand by my claim that Barr is a joke just like
Sessions was. There has been more than a sufficient amount of time to build a case
and adequate evidence to back up said case.

I'm done being told that I have to wait for endless investigations to conclude. I'm
pretty sure I'm being duped.

Lets say you're right for argumental purposes... Does Trump fire Barr after the election ? bring someone else in to get justice for the other half of the country ?

I guess it all depends on whether Trump himself actually gives a fuck. He seems to revel
in verbal jujitsu with anyone willing to participate but that's as far as it goes.

Does he fire Barr? Not likely at this point. Barr is still on his honeymoon. And besides
Trump seems to think he's doing a fine job. Now we all know that can change in a heartbeat
with Trumps temperment so anything is possible.

I'm pretty much talking after the election , way over a year from now if nothing gets done... Then he has no reason to hold back... stick Rudy in there..he'll do it

IMHO waiting is not an option. The longer you dick around the more restless
the herd gets.

Yeah Rudy has a rep for being a no nonsense type of guy but so does Barr.

I don't have a clue what's going on and I really believe no one else does
either and that includes Barr.

What I do know is there are a lot of people who have committed crimes wandering
around making millions while others are awaiting sentencing for crimes that are
far less important.

Trumps base is watching and saying WTF? Could I be next? And don't kid yourself
if Flynn goes down no one is safe.

Bad juju going on out there my friend. Trump better be careful and start making
things right. Like yesterday.

Our nation's future rests with whether or not Comey-McCabe-Brennan-Clapper-Lynch-Holder et al, and maybe even Hillary and 0Bama, are held accountable for their crimes.

Yes it does. Either we're a nation of laws or we're not. It's that simple.
