They are winning that division and making the playoffs. Isn't any playoff team worth >20:1??

i locked in a big one on carolina last week. I'm more heavily considering colts afc 12:1 as they would be a dog in virtually any super bowl matchup

I wouldn't touch it -- they are a product of a good division and last night was really their first good game all year (the other wins were close wins vs AFC SOUTH opponents). I agree Carolina might be the better pick. Maybe the Raiders? They would be a good long shot

Yeah, agree here, no way in hell. I live in Charlotte and I wouldn't bet the Panthers to win it, let alone make it. I can see the Pack coming back here in January and getting some revenge. Even the press here thinks they're doing this with smoke and mirrors. So betting the winning team from arguably the worst division in NFL history, GL with that!

Exactly. Colts going to Super Bowl has about as much sense as a 20+ yr paraplegic walking again on his own

They beat Denver, don't have a .500 record and now you are talking super bowl?

At 20-1 you don't have to risk a lot to get a really good return. They are playing better the last couple of weeks. I mean they had Carolina (home)on the ropes and that was with 3 Luck interceptions. A big W over Denver didn't hurt anything. Look how quickly things change in the NFL. Atlanta and the Pack aren't playing so good right now, Pats, Carolina, Cincy, are the one's that are elite right now. We have a bunch of middle tier teams and quite frankly it's hard to pick the winner of the games when there are so many teams that aren't consistent from week to week.

Back to the original post, a small bet would give you a nice return if they did pull off a miracle. It's not any different than losing a 50-50 game ats except your bet should be a lot smaller.

Carolina at the 12-1 sounds like a really good bet to me.
