Romney makes Colts-Patriots wager with Indiana governor.

BOSTON -- Gov. Mitt Romney and Indiana Gov. Joe Kernan put state pride on the line Friday by betting on the Colts-Patriots matchup in the AFC Championship.

The two talked by phone Friday morning and Kernan accepted Romney's challenge for a wager over Sunday's game, said Kernan spokesman Jonathan Swain.

If the Indianapolis Colts win, Romney will send a basket of Boston goodies that includes lobster, clams and other Massachusetts delicacies.

If the New England Patriots win, Kernan will owe Romney 25 Indiana pork chops and 10 pounds of South Bend chocolate, double-dipped peanuts.

I hope the Indianapolis DA will protect the name of liberty and charge the un-American, child harming, degenerate gambler Kernan with a misdermeanor.

It's time to clean the streets up from the perils and evils of gambling.

Since Governor O'bannon died last year and Gov. Joe Kernan stepped in, maybe he is not familiar with the laws yet

I guess if it is illegal for that Washington head coach Neuheisel, then it should be illegal for these guys.

Hey General,

How about us,Hoosiers, are getting screwed by the local government and we are paying for it by Gov. Kernan's mistake. Does he have any idea how much seafood are he getting,if the Colts win compare to 25 pork chops from local Marsh's Supermarket and South Bend chocolate covered peanut from Circle Centre Mall with our tax money plus who's eating the seafood and clam chowder after the New England loss?

My prediction: Massachusetts in a landslide

P.S. I'm thinking Kernan prolly hedged a NE wager with local bookie at VFW to pay for $50 worth of chocolate peanuts,LOL!

They raised the property taxes here, then said they were wrong. Still do not know the price. LOL
