Good point ! :toast:Fishhead said:The point is there is NO CHANCE IN EGYPT the COLTS will not do everything in their power to defeat the Cards in game #16 if undefeated.
Think of this scenario........
Colts trailing 23-20 with 10 min. remaining in the 4th in this game.
NO WAY the COLTS do not pull out all the plugs to win this game at this point...........if they do not and lose, they would be the laughing stock of the league for years and they would be so ridiculed that they would not be able recover in time to win the Superbowl.
We already know that the Colts are favored by 7 1/2 in the games with Jax and also the Chargers ! I have said all along the biggest threat will probably be Seattle and I feel certain this line will be under a TD but over a field goal ! What's your opinion ?Fishhead said:Having said that, the COLTS have THREE tough games ahead of them in....
JAX
SD
SEA
The SEA game, if they are still undefeated at that stage, is the game most everybody should be wondering about as far as the status of the Colts starters.

Mr. Jones said:Can't get a grip on that line Fish. I'm sure the linesmakers will have to give it a good bit of thought.
Tony is essentially a very conservative man. To finish the season undefeated but somehow lose the Superbowl would just add to his legacy of never winning the big one.....in fact it would be an incredibly brutal thing to have happen to him. The pressure would be unreal. Losing before the playoffs would lessen that pressure for sure.
But then there's MO to think about.
His legacy would probably be tainted just as bad if He went 18-1 and won the Super Bowl but lost a game because He didn't have the guts to play his regulars ! If He lost to Seattle let's say fair and square... nothing to be sorry about but to give the Seahawks an easy victory would be very much scrutinized forever !Mr. Jones said:Can't get a grip on that line Fish.
