Toledo's Aaron Opelt went 41-67 for 3TDs and 2Ints against Purdue in last weeks game. Toledo eventually lost the game 52-31. The Rockets were also without their best RB Morgan Williams, but he returns to face CU. This is Toledo's home opener as well.

Last week, Colorado lost at home to CSU, and only amassed 22 rushing yards against CSU's defense. CU's Cody Hawkins threw went 24-40 with 1TD and 1INT in their 23-17 loss.

Toledo loves to pass the ball and will put up some points on a less staunch CU defense. Colorado will get their points though, mostly on the ground. Toledo gave up 300+ on the ground against Purdue, but CU doesn't have the talent to do that much damage. CU isn't that good of a team at all and Toledo will be looking to destroy them in their home opener.

Big game for the Rockets. I'm heading down US-23 tomorrow night to watch it.

No read on the game, but I'm sure that Dan Hawkins and Co. know that this is an absolute must-win in order to makeup for the CSU disaster.

Why not? Yeah, they aren't a that good of a team and they played like doo doo butter against CSU, but this is make or break for them. Their season depends on it. Toledo can't stop the run and Purdue put up 51 points and 300 yards rushing on them last week. CU will be able to drop a decent point total on Toledo, I just don't think they will be able to keep up.

Colorado's O-Line is horrendous. They aren't scoring 35 against ANYBODY. They scored 17 against the worst defense in the MWC.
