Connelly's prediction which i agree with...one of toughest teams in america to predict for 2017

http://www.sbnation.com/college-foo...olorado-football-2017-preview-schedule-roster
Little improvements could go a long way for Colorado in 2017. The No. 50 S&P+ projection makes sense to me, but it creates a schedule overloaded with relative tossups.
The Buffs have a win probability between 37 and 61 percent in eight games. There are two likely losses (Washington, USC) and two likely wins (Texas State, Northern Colorado), and everything else is up for grabs. If the offense exceeds a frankly conservative No. 47 projection, or if Eliot can keep his finger in the dam for a while on defense, an eight- or nine-win season is very much within reach.
On the flip side, of course, if injuries pile up and the defense collapses, then having only two sure wins makes the floor awfully low.

IMHO DJ Eliott will prove to be an adequate replacement for Jim Leavitt who was hired as Oregon's new DC.
No big change there as Eliott will continue to use the same 3-4 defensive alignment. We'll see how the
defense responds to new blood pretty soon into the new season.

IMHO Steven Montez will prove to be an adequate replacement for Sefo Liufau as Buffalo's quarterback.

No doubt that the oddsdmakers will have caught up to the Colorado spread beaters this time around but
for them to win 8 games is not out of the question.

I have faith in Mike MacIntyre

Colorado: Mike MacIntyre’s contract extension has been approved, a 5-year deal through 2021 worth $16.25 million (average 3.25 million annually). The deal had been postponed five months ago for an investigation into the school’s handling of sexual assault allegations against former assistant Joe Tumpkin. That process wrapped up Monday.

Just wondering in how many states is a head football coach the highest paid state employee?

Probably every state except Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and similar. Hell, maybe even in those states as well.

Last year the true freshman Steve Montez stepped in for Liufau when he was injured.
If I remember correctly he started for 3 weeks and the Buffs didn't skip a beat. As a
matter of fact there was some talk about whether or not to reinsert Sefo when he was
healed because Montez took up the slack so well. His accuracy was just a notch below
Liufau's but both of them were excellent at extending plays and creating opportunities.
Now Montez is just a sophomore and if he does work out as I expect him to he will be
around for years.

QB slight upgrade. DC hard to replace. Point D goes south with shocking number of NFL draft eligible guys gone. 6-6.

Haven't seen a valid answer YET?

Just a SIDENOTE that means NOTHING at this ONCE BEST CFB FORUM on the net.

This crap has half as many post as the BEST CFB THREAD at this place. Loyal men like Coach and RollTide..plus others honor what was once the best CFB forum going with offseason expertise. Silly BS PUMB and not backing the great posters here at this place is DUMB, STUPID and disloyal to a great sports forum.

I don't get it!

Well their new DC sure has his work cut out for him. Chances are likely that the Buff defense will get off to a
slow start. Montez better get his game on pretty quick or the Buffs will have an uphill battle winning this prop.

Hell Mr. 8, from reading a couple of my post, guessing I beat you there.

No harm....no foul...at least from me.
