sorry, prodigy, I misunderstood your initial comment. Monarchs were a disappt. last season, I agree...I paid for it at times, so I do know.

Would you take them at a PK this Sunday @UConn?

Most definitely. They are better than they have shown this year. Peaking at the perfect time. Hope they draw Pitt somewhere in the tourney as I will be all over the Cards. Bad matchup for Pitt

Lville with another impressive win - and they were just 5/20 from 3. Media finally catching on and labeling them hot which will hurt their value some, but I will still be riding them. They are legit

My boys the Hoyas and the Terps are on major heaters...

If in some way Gtown can win out and win the Big East tourny is there a chance at a #1 seed or is that out of the question? I figure it's a long shot or maybe impossible.

Georgetown is a legit final four team...it would be hard for them get a #1 seed at this point.

I see them as a legit #2 seed.

Big week for Michigan St not to lose momentum on the Big 10 road after two weeks at home playing some of the Big 10 heavyweights.

The answer to "Where did Vandy come from" is DERRICK BYARS. This kid is gonna be a 2nd rounder, and with a solid performance in the SEC/NCAA tourney has a shot to get late 1st round. He's a legitimate top3 candidate for SEC POY this year, and he's one of those combo swingmen the NBA just love. Can't be stopped...

Oregon came back with two nice wins. I see a #4 seed as a possibility.

BC is kind of sliding. They lost a few players that really hurt and I am shocked they were this good anyway this year. They have gotten blown out against Duke and Vtech and have not looked good at times. It pains me but overall they still have done well and should be in the tourney.

Nobody's mentioned some of these dipshit schools at least in terms of hot and not.

Hot: The Colonial Athletic Conference. Four teams with 22+ wins, all with decent computer numbers. That conference tourney is gonna be bitchin'.

Not: Missouri Valley. These teams have played each other out of the tournament. Wichita State fell off the face of the earth. Short of SIU, I'm not sold that anyone else is in. Creighton's got some nice numbers and is probably in... but losses to Drexel and Illinois State were absolutely inexcusable. I wouldn't be completely shocked if this turned out to be a 1 bid league, though 2 is the more likely number. Any more than that is a farce.

Hot: Marist... These guys have been on a big time run of late in the MAAC (8 straight wins) and are peaking at the right time. Some 2 or 3 seed is gonna have its hands full.

Hot: KANSAS... My god, Kansas. These guys are charging up the polls quickly and with a good showing in the Big XII tourney, are a 2 seed in the making.

Not: Stanford... These guys were as good as in a few weeks ago and have lost 2 in a row and 4 out of 6. 17-10 and a drooping RPI don't help their cause any.

Not: FSU... The injury to Toney Douglas killed my Noles, but a win against Miami and a win in the ACC tourney may be enough to still get them in. 2 wins in the ACC tourney and they're certainly in. They looked like a completely different team in that NC State game this weekend.

Not: The SEC... Save Florida, all of these teams are gone before the Sweet 16. They're just not that good.

Hot: Nevada... I don't know what more these guys have to do to prove that they're a legit 3 seed. The selection committee is gonna screw these guys over.

Not: Gonzaga... but that doesn't need to be discussed.

Hot: San Diego State... all of a sudden on Lunardi's radar again...

I think losing 4 out of 6 in the Pac 10 is not all that bad this year. Conference is brutal this year. Stanford still is a good team

Stanford's resume is dropping quickly. I really don't know why Lunardi had these guys as a FIVE SEED coming into this weekend. Then again, I also can't believe he has Illinois on the outside looking in.
