I am going to post my half time plays here whenever I have a play.


Many times you will have a very good team "not show up" in the 1st half.
So when you take the original line & compare the 2nd half line, you are getting great value on the very good team.


Ex) 9/6 Mississippi @ Florida State Line is FS -4 1/2 Halftime: Mississippi State UP 28-13 Florida State DOWN 15
2nd half line: Florida State -3 1/2 Florida State can LOSE by 11 & You WIN. (Line is now FS +11 for game)
We know what happen, Florida State "woke up" and WON the game 45-34


Another situation can be when a very good team comes out and "kills" their opponent in the 1st half.
Will the very good team continue to score? Will the coach keep the starters in?
Will the opponent "wake up" and play better in the 2nd half?
Ex) 9/3 Bose State @ La Lafayette Line is BS -19 Halftime: Boise State UP 35-3 La Laf DOWN 32
2nd half line: LaLaf +7 LaLaf can LOSE by 38 & You WIN. (Line is now La Laf +39 for game)
Bose State "walked through the 2nd half" and WON the game 45-10 - by 35 points - BUT La Laf covered the 2nd half line.


I hope you understand where I am coming from. There is more value in the 2nd half line vs the original line.
I do not look at every game to see if these situations occur.

I concentrate on a few games and look for these situations.


If I have a play on a pro game, I will post it here. Same theory applies to pros.

f Buffalo does not kick that field goal before halftime, the play would have been on Buffalo.


Instead the score is 20-10 at halftime. Halftime line was Buffalo -3 1/2.
So Buffalo could lose by 6, which they did, and the play would win.
The way Buffalo was playing in the first half, they could not "walk & chew gum at the same time"


I wanted at least 7 or more points from the original line.
I did not like Buffalo + 6 1/2. That was only 5 points from the orginal line of Buffalo +1 1/2.


But like I said I AM PICKY. If the score was 23-10, the halftime line would have been
around Buffalo -4 1/2. So Buffalo could lose by 8.
I like the +7 points or more from the original line.

I have been able to put the 2nd half play up around 8 minutes after the 1st half has ended.
