Very excited for college football to be back. Even though I like some of these games more than others, I am at least for Thursday just making each play a 1* selection.

N Carolina +1 vs S Carolina……………….I don’t see S Carolina scoring a ton tonight with only 4 starters and no QB on offense. I think N Carolina scores enough to win the game.

Utah -5 vs Michigan………….Nice story with their head coach coming home, but Utah is the much better team, especially at home.

Minnesota +17 (-125) vs TCU…………..Probably my favorite play of the night. Minnesota will be up for this one vs the almighty, powerful TCU team. Minnesota has always been respectable at home and will find a way to keep this under the number. I did buy it to 17, just feel better with that.

W Kentucky -2.5 vs Vanderbilt………..Probably my second favorite play of the night. The line tells you the winner of this game. A small conference team favored AT an SEC team. Vandy might keep this close since the are at home, but they are not going to win this game.

It is so tempting to bet more games since I am so anxious and glad football is back, but I won’t. Feel pretty good about these but the first games of the season you just never know. Back tomorrow with Friday nights games.

Good Luck Everybody!!

2-2 dropping 0.20 units in last nights college football openers. Could have easily swept the board, both my losses were looking like winners, but I will take 2-2, I can live with that. Just one pick tonight.

*W Michigan +17 (-120) vs Michigan State

Good Luck Everybody!! Back in the morning.

Only one pick on Friday and it was a winner. Now onto our first full Saturday of college football. Should be interesting.

3* Louisville +10.5 (-120) vs Auburn
2* Temple +7 (-125) vs Penn State
2* Georgia Southern +17 (-120) vs West Virginia
1* BYU +5 vs Nebraska
1* Bowling Green +21 vs Tennessee

I think that is it for now, but I am going to keep on looking, so check back.

TOTAL (6-4) (+3.20)

Decent start to the season. Two games left in this first week.

1* Purdue +7 (-120) vs Marshall………..All that I have read so far is Marshall, Marshall, Marshall and people have said how the line was climbing. DSI has it at +6.5 (-105). I know Marshall has held their own against bigger conference teams over the years, but my gut tells me take the weak Big 12 team. I will go against the majority here, which is never a bad thing and throw a unit on this and hope for the best.

Still trying to make up my mind on the big game Monday. Leaning Virginia Tech as of now. Good Luck Everybody!!

Will update record later.

1* Virginia Tech +14 vs Ohio State.............this line feels about right to me, so I will take the home dog. Hard not to put a little something on this game.
