I am getting an early start on the upcoming week and should have some plays posted by tonight but first I will post some leans that I like so that we can get some discussion going so that we beat the man AGAIN!!!!!!!!

LEANS:

Thursday

WVA -3.5 Both teams are coming off of an off date so they both should be more healthy and for Auburn maybe their offense will be improved.......but I dont think that it will be enough against the Mountaineers on primetime at home!!!! White and company should be able to move the ball well enough to get the win here and their defense has played better allowing 3.2 yds per rush this year and only 5.7 yds per pass.........Aub defense is solid no doubt but when your offense keeps you on the field the whole game you get worn out by the 4th Quarter and thats when I think the WVA offense will get some big plays on the ground and through the air........WVA by 13!!!!!!!

Friday

San Jose St +7 Broncos have looked good the last few weeks in TV games so I think that this line will move up over 7 and thats when I am going to play it........SJ is tough at home and lost to B ST by only 3 points the last time they played at the Spartans house............which has been known for close upsets like last year when they almost upset Hawaii......Anyway, I think SJ St is a very underrated team and could see them pulling the SU upset in this game but I will play them with the points.......SJ St 21-20!!!!!

Saturday

WF +3 WF is coming off of a terrible performance vs Maryland last week and I think part of that is that they were looking ahead to this showdown with Miami.........Miami has speed but that could hurt them in this game as the Deacs like to use that against team with misdirection plays.......Deacs win SU!!!!!!!!

North Carolina -3 Tar Heels were upset last week and now they face a solid BC team coming off of a big win so I am looking for a possible let down for the Eagles and regeardless I think UNC was trying to adjust last week without their star WR Tate but they should be more prepared and a much hungrier team coming off of a loss........The books must think so as well as they favored over a ranked opponent!!!!!!!

UCONN PK Battle of the backups.........I have looked to see if Lorenzen is coming back but regardless I like UCONN in this game.......UCONN stops the run and Cin has to run with their 4th or 5th string QB that they are playing with.....We get more value this week thanks to the UCONN kicker missing 3 fg's last week.......I also think the Under might be a good play since Cin stops the run as well.......

Rutgers +9.5 Scarlet Knights are horrible no doubt but I think they are better than Syracuse and they gave PITT everything they could handle until the 4Q......I also say that Pitt plays to level of competition that they are facing.......plus PITT has Notre Dame on deck so this is a sandwich game for them coming off of the big win over Navy which was important to them since Navy beat them last year......Anyway, look for Pitt to win a late FG in this one.........

Kentucky +23 Kentucky plays solid defense allowing 3.5 yds per carry and 5.4 yds per pass and the road team in this series has covered 8 of the last 11.....throw in the fact the Gators have Georgia the following week and you could have a possible look ahead situation..........The only thing that I dont like is that Florida is coming off of an off week.......

Duke +9.5 Duke lost a tough one last week to the Canes and now face a non conference foe on the road......Vandy is coming off back to back losses so they will be looking to get back on track but the way that Duke can move the ball I just dont see them winning by more than 7........

LSU -2.5 Tigers seemed to get things going last week in the 2H with the 2 QB's so I think that will be a boost of confidence going up against Georgia who IMO is a very overrated team after wathcing them play several times this year and throw in the fact that they are banged up still on the offensive line and I see LSU controlling the line of scrimmage and the game!!!!! I also love that they have Florida next week........They wont look past LSU but if they dont have total concentration in this game then they will lose by 2 TD's or more.........

Kansas -2 Lower ranked over higher ranked team at home and playing against a terrible defense........I have to side with the home team in this one........Plus Tech has Texas next week and I know that some of their players will be looking ahead to the showdown with the Horns!!!!!

Penn St -2 Everyone is saying that PSU hasnt played anyone and they might be right but who have the Bukeyes played.............USC and they got crushed!!!!!!!! so IMO both teams are in the same boat as far as scheduling goes.......I have seen both of these teams several times this year and PSU has more talent than OSU........The only thing that OSU has going for them in this game is that they are playing at home. I actually think their ass whipping of MSU last week helps us because the line is lower than it would have been. Most of the time I would be on the home dog but I just dont see OSU keeping up with PSU in this game and last week only helps PSU because they played MICH who runs the spread which is what the Buckeyes are doing now with Pryor......This will be my Big 10 GOY and I will post it tonight because I want to make sure I get on this before it goes to 3!!!!!! Penn St 31-20!!!!!!!

Here are some more that I am looking at........

Purdue
Baylor
Washington
Arizona St
Oklahoma St

I should have about 6 or 7 plays that come out of this group so as of now the only one that I am playing for sure is Penn St!!!!!!!

you might be right but why do you like Georgia..........The above are just leans so I would love to hear the georgia side so I can make the call after I hear both sides.......Anyway, IMO you sound like a fan not a person who is trying to win money when you make statements without any reasoning behind it...........GL

Saturday

20* Big Ten GOY

20* Penn St -2 -105
I think the books are wrong on this one because I dont think OSU has a shot at winning........I see this one as a DD win for the Nittany Lions!!!!!

Might want to check NFL mock drafts and ask some scouts that question to be sure.

Suggest you watch more Big Ten games if that's your opinion. Iowa and Wisconsin are probably the only Big Ten teams that run more I-formation and pro-sets than OSU this year. To say OSU runs a spread offense with Pryor is like saying Wisconsin is pass-happy or Juice Williams can't pass. Don't make judgments on a conference you clearly don't know.

Hard to say Rutgers, but this would be a good spot to take them. On your others, I think Wash will have a hard time covering since ND will probably put up 35-40. One thing to consider is Weis won't want to run it up on Ty.

Also like the Cinci/UConn under.

excuse me expert but what do you call the offense when Pryor is in shotgun and he either gives the ball or keeps???? Oh mighty guru of football....please tell....you can call it a zone read but so everyone will know what I am talking about I call it the spread.....Of course OSU still runs their old offense but the one they better have working on Saturday is Pryor and Wells running the ball out of the formation that I am talking about or its over before it starts.........Basic smash mouth football isnt going to work against this talented PSU defense.........I have watched more football than you can ever imagine so go over to the OSU posting forum and cheer for them over there because basically you are a fan and nothing else!!!!!! and by the way Juice Williams isnt a great passer.......but I thought an expert like you would already know that???

Be careful with Kentucky. With all those injuries I read in another thread, I am considering buying back my original wager on Kentucky +22.

The WVU pick scares me. I have watched them play a few times this year and they are not that good. Their coach is a terrible play caller, their D can't stop anyone, and they can't pass at all. I know Auburn is down too so maybe WVU can take it to them but that Auburn D should be able to stop the run. I have a feeling there won't be a ton of scoring in this game so maybe the under will be the play. To tell you the truth i'm not a big fan of either side since both teams aren't playing very well but if i had to chose i think i would go with the points. But the under might be more tempting.

San Jose St is on fire but this is another game that's tough to call for me. I bet this team alot and they cover for me almost every time i bet them but i have a feeling Boise St is gonna cover this. I could be wrong here but Boise didn't play that well against Hawaii and SJ St is coming off 2 nice wins. I know SJ St is at home but i think i would go with Boise here. Would feel alot better at 6.5 though.

UNC-BC I liked BC at first glance but UNC could be the pick here coming off the loss at home. They are very good. You can't run on them and they have some playmakers at home. Something is telling me BC is the pick though. I need to research this one more.

Kansas: I like this pick. Texas Tech should be looking ahead and Kansas is no one to overlook. They will be ready for this and they might even blow out Tech. I'm all over Kansas here.

Penn State: I'm with ya here too. Ohio St. is looking better but Penn State is dominant. You can't run on their D and their offense is a juggernaut with so many different weapons. I know the horseshoe is a tough place to play but the season is on the line here for Penn State. This is their National Title hope. If they lose they are out. If they win it's downhill from here and they will most likely play for the BCS Title if they go undefeated. Love Penn St.

I'm not a big fan of the LSU play, i think Georgia will win that. But i'm not positive yet. Too early. I like Rutgers. I like Washington. I'm not betting against Texas no matter what, but i don't know if i will be betting on them either, prob not. That's all for now, i know this was kinda choppy but i didn't look over everything yet. I will have write ups and games i like soon. Here are my early favs:

Boise St
Penn St
Tennessee
UCLA
Washington
Troy
Mich St
Ball St
Hawaii
Rice

Too early to tell but this are some early leans. I will have more details soon, i have a lot of work to do still.

Great Job last week!
I think Kentucky gets blown out this week. They were +15 at Alabama and I was on them and now the line is 23...Why so much higher? Just have a bad feeling will probably not play that one. I like WVU alot and OK St or maybe even the over in that game. I have to disagree with you in the UGA LSU game. I think UGA is a better team and have played well on the road under Richt. LSU qb is terrible and will not beat them. UGA has won some close ones recently but they have been in control the whole time in the TENN game and the VANDY game they kept turning it over in the redzone. Stafford is a composed qb and can handle the hostile environment. I think Moreno will have a big day and UGA wins 24-17.

I agree with your LSU pick. Georgia is highly overrated, and LSU is back home after being on the road for the past 2 games. The defensive line is much more effective when not playing against spread offenses. They have the ability to rush the qb, and LSU implemented a defense involving 4 DE's on the field at one time which helped get them 5 or 6 sacks against South Carolina. Georgia's O line will not have much of a chance, and Moreno will not have much daylight. If Georgia does win, it will be with Stafford's arm which is very possible. However, I see LSU's defensive line being the difference in this one. I like the pick! Good luck on your other plays.
