Oklahoma completed its 10th unbeaten regular season in 65 years with a 56-25 victory over Texas Tech. The Sooners have won 13 straight, the longest current streak in Division I-A, and surpassed the 50-point mark for a school-record seventh time this season. Oklahoma beat its five Big 12 South foes -- Texas, Texas A&M, Tech, Baylor and Oklahoma State -- by a combined score of 291-50.

Penn State's 41-10 loss to Michigan State ended the worst season in Joe Paterno's 38 years as coach. The Nittany Lions (3-9) lost nine games for the first time in school history and are only the fourth losing team in Paterno's career.

Michigan beat Ohio State 35-21 in the 100th meeting of the storied rivalry. ... No. 16 Purdue beat Indiana 24-16 to win the Old Oaken Bucket for the sixth time in seven years. ... Billy Bennett kicked three field goals to become the SEC's career scoring leader with 382 points as No. 6 Georgia beat Kentucky 30-10. His 80 career field goals also set a league record.

Brandon Miree, sidelined since Sept. 20 after suffering a stress fracture in his right leg, ran for a career-high 188 yards and two touchdowns in his first game in two months, leading No. 21 Pittsburgh to a 30-16 win over Temple.

No. 9 Tennessee blanked Vanderbilt 48-0, beating the Commodores for the 21st straight year. ... Utah became the first team to shut out Brigham Young in 28 years with a 3-0 victory. The Cougars hadn't been shut out since losing at Arizona State 20-0 in 1975 -- an NCAA-record span of 361 games.

No. 15 Mississippi had its six-game winning streak snapped with a 17-14 loss to No. 3 LSU. ... Duke ended a 13-game losing streak against North Carolina with a 30-22 win. The Blue Devils hadn't beaten the Tar Heels since 1989, when Steve Spurrier was coach. ... Stanford's 28-16 loss to California was its first at home to the Golden Bears since 1993.

After a 29-17 loss to Virginia, Georgia Tech hasn't won at Scott Stadium since beating the top-ranked Cavaliers in 1990. ... Illinois lost its 10th game in a row, 37-20 to Northwestern. ... Vanderbilt finished with a losing record for the 21st straight season after a 48-0 loss to Tennessee.
