I suggest that all of you remember that you are giving the vig (sometimes big vig) in most of these cases. Taking a team at -150 is giving 3/2 odds. In most cases, that is too big. Check the Vig before you go diving in. Failing to count the vig is a big reason why some people think they made money during the season and then find out that they actually lost money. If you ignore the vig, you are NOT a very good gambler.

i think that miami game is a big one for this bc program and one i think they win. agree that clemson, nc state, va tech and fla state are doubtful. that miami game will be at night in late october and i think a circled game. i think the line by then would be around 3. also think by that time bc could be 5-2 and could be a top 25 team. i am pretty high on this BC team clearly but dont count that Miami game as a loss for the eagles. i think thats a very winnable game for BC this year. i have them as a 7 win team but clearly gotta win early cause the back end of the schedule is tough. all starters returning on an offensive line is just gold to me. should be a very good rushing attack
I do not think that Boston College has the talent needed to be a Top 25 team. They will struggle to win 7 ganes this season. Miami may have 7 wins going into the B.C. game. Each team gets the previous week off. Miami is 6-0 as an away favorite of 2 or more points in the second of back to back away games. It's been a long time since these two teams have played each other, so there is no useful information along those lines.
