Well me and my site are back, only there is one thing different this year, all my plays are on the house. I got sick of the pressure so I guess I am just a normy now. You guys might remember me....Cappthespread

After hitting sixty percent last year I called it quits but I guess I just can't stop gambling.

Anyway, Here is my first topic of the year until any odds come out on college football.

Top teams and this is the preseason order I have. I would like to hear any arguments about this, I have studied these teams for hours upon end.

1.Oklahoma
2.USC
3.Georgia
4.Michigan
5.LSU
6.Texas
7.Ohio State
8.Miami
9.Auburn
10.Tennessee
11.West Virginia
12.Florida State
13.Clemson
14.Florida
15.Virginia
16.Minnesota
17.Louisville
18.Kansas State
19.Georgia Tech
20.Marshall
21.Wisoconsin
22.Nebraska
23.Bowling Green
24.Cal
25.Utah
Missouri
Miami (oh)
Iowa
Fresno State
Texas Tech
Oregon
Hawaii
Maryland
Boston College
Ole miss
TCU
Memphis
Cincinnati
North Texas

These teams start getting really tricky to locate around 10 because there are any awful lot of teams that could move up or down around that area. The SEC is so top heavy this year that it's scaring me. I am an SEC fan but definitely try to give other conferences the benefit of the doubt, but how can you not have lsu and georgia in there? Auburn will be a huge surprise team this year there offense and defense will be outstanding. Louisville and Marshall are huge sleepers this season. Any other thoughts?

1. Georgia is being listed in everyone's top five....why? They lost three games last year, their QB is as immobile as any I've ever seen and their strength/conditioning is poor. They have players dropping like flies during fall camp....every year. I can MAYBE see them in the top ten....maybe.

2. Michigan in the top five....why? They were embarassed by USC in the Rose Bowl, and they've lost their senior QB.

Georgia has the talent and alot of pressure this year to win.

Michigan didn't get embarassed by USC last year, USC was just a better team. This year Michigan will quietly become a national title contender, everyone will be looking at Oklahoma, USC, LSU, and Georgia but Michigan will have the easist road to that game out of those teams.

I don't know ... as long as they've got Dave Van Halanger, you can't discount their S&C department .....
and what the hell does "losing three games last year" have to do with THIS YEAR??? need I remind you, LSU lost FIVE games in 2002 before they split the national title with USC last season

also have to give the DAWGS props for training on vertimax!!!
you can tell that they're serious about Speed, Agility and Quickness

What a shameless plug. You must have an extra mouth to feed.

I think Georgia was given their ranking because they're in a comparatively large media market.

I used the games lost last year because EVERYONE is touting Georgia based on their returning "talent". Dave Van Halanger may be a big name, but the fact is that the Dawgs lose a hell of a lot of players in the two weeks prior to the season. I would take Tommy Moffit over him any day of the week.
