Ha ha I just posted a very similar thread before I had read this. And despite all the legit trap talk etc. there is one factor that will keep me on Virginia and that is coaching because bronco Mendenhall is easily a top 10 coach in the country if not pressing the top five. He reminds me a little of urban Meyer in that he wins everywhere he goes and seems to be moving up the ladder and just has very well coached well prepared Teams everywhere he goes

Ironically the set-up changed with the barfing that the Canes put up LW. Obviously you could have gotten the Canes at a weak spot had they just played a garden variety game and pulled out a win. Of course had the QB not thrown 3 INTs in the first 7 minutes then the result would have been different too.

The week off will help Bryce Perkins tremendously. ND and MIA probably have similar front 7 speed but BP was clearly not 100% and not willing to try and outrun ND and thus paid the price in sacks and turnovers. Think you'll see a quicker and sharper mentality from the entire offense this week. MIA reminds me of FSU offensively except their QB play is far more uneven which helps UVAs D.

UVAs has survived its first two ACC tests with some sold play and coaching. And agree that will continue this week

Seen this scenario many times. False favorite, as the public thinks. THIS is Miami's BOWL GAME. Yes early in season but you'll see. If a line looks to good to be true it usually goes Vegas's way. Proceed with caution.

Im going to tease UVA up to +9, lets see if Miami is good enough to cover that number. So far they haven't shown it. Also teasing the over down 7 to 38.

Ive got it at 27-24 Miami, Miami is explosive enough, if Perkins gets hot, Miami should be able to hang somewhat

Public dogs are 9-9 this year according to the Yahoo pick'em distribution - could be missing a couple, but I think it's pretty accurate.

Wouldn't be surprised if the line movement is SHARPS trying to get this to +3 and then betting HUGE amounts on that. There is absolutely no reason to lay points with this MIAMI team against a very talented balanced UVA team. No friggin way.

Miami is an unorganized mess, kids are out of control. The new coach was a media star but he is not really what the unsubstantiated phony narrative shoved down our throat.
Not even close.
VA might be a good pick but I would think Miami might completely collapse next game on the road, being at home here they might fight hard and even concentrate for awhile.

You are correct. Fla outgained them 304-301. Donbest has them at +2 yard advantage, but -3 it is

BP19, agree with your take, but Miami did not outgain their opening opponent. Good spot for Miami here. Perry is the difference, and you'll see a much tougher and balanced offense.

This was a great bet, horrificly random bad variance result. Anything can happen in one game and it happened to those of us who bet UVA last week and got butt raped.
