Aloha Gang! Ok, well we finally made it to the March Madness Tournament. This college BB season has seem to have come and gone in a blink of an eye. The memories of this past years Super Bowl is still fresh on my mind, and I am really missing Football very much. Anyways, before I started a new record for the March Madness Tournament, I just wanted to post my Week ending records for the last Two Months of plays. This is strictly for information purposes and nothing else. Thanks and Aloha CC.

WEEK ENDING RECORDS:

FEB 1ST: 38W-24L= +55 UNITS.

FEB 8TH: 38W-36L= +20 UNITS.

FEB 15: 47W-47L= +2 UNITS.

FEB 22: 43W-35L= +45 UNITS.

FEB 29: 42W-31L= +54 UNITS.

MAR 7TH: 33W-25L= +35 UNITS.

MAR 14: 57W-41L= +76 UNITS.
______________________________________

TOT REC: 298W-239L= +287 UNITS. (55%)(not including vig)

*GOY PLAYS IN CFB & CBB: 2W-0L= +20 UNITS. (100%)

*GOM PLAYS IN CBB : 12W-1L= +77 UNITS. (92%)

**Top 6 Unit Plays(posted almost daily)Record: 58W-38L= +120 Units. (60%)

**Gang, it has been a real pleasure sharing with you All, the ups and downs, ins and outs, lefts and rights, bad beats and big feats, many snips and fits, and the HOTS and the NOTS, of this past college BB season. We finished off the regular season on a very very strong run, which ended in damaging the Man for 7 consecutive weeks. I hope that the NIT and NCAA Tourney Games will allow us to again continue this success for us. This years Madness should be really exciting and full of upsets and buzzer beaters. I am going out on a Limb here and picking KENTUCKY to win it All. Good Luck to All and Much Mahalos and Aloha Co-Captain.

I dont think thats going out on a limb bud

I like em too - only i'm torn deciding if they can get past OK State then Stanford

Also really curious to see how okafor and villeneuava are doing - do you know any good injury research sources? If those two are back in business then I'd be scared of Uconn...

Chances are Okafor is on his last leg though and they wont be a factor.

Look forward to yer comments

Impressive record, bud. Keep up the great work. One question, though. I thought your 7 unit plays had one loss going into yesterday and you lost the teaser, so, shouldn't it be 12-2?

Either way, keep up the great work and let's get em in the tourney.

jillmark, I love the bases. Still, Bases as far as capping experience is my youngest of all the major sports. I rate my confidence and experience in sports capping to be CFB, NFL, CBB, NBA, and then MLB, only because I have been involve in capping Bases for just over 7 years, whereas the other sports I have double the years capping them. Aloha CC.

Jaypaw, I need to get back to you on your questions. My brain is fried right now and I need a break. Aloha CC.

jcambert, I decide to leave out the Teaser play of the Month loser, as the others are all selective singular plays, which were based on situational setups and advantages as well as alot of homework conducted to come out with those plays. The Teaser Play eventhough it was a 7 Unit Play of the Month, it in no way was handicapped with the same method.because of this, I will list it in a separate catergory, which I forgot to post up top.

So here it is. If anyone needs or feels it should be included in the overall GOM Record, then the adjustments are as follows. GOM Plays went 12-2= +70 UNITS. (86%)

I am going to record it separately. Teaser POM this season :0-1= -7 UNITS.

Great record, Co-Cap. Makes me wish I had played all of your plays for your units and not made my own picks.....but then, what fun would that be?

CC,
One hell of a run. I didn't play yesterday, and I think it was the smartest move I made ALL week. Still a great week. Let's smoke 'em in the tourney, now. Good Luck, my friend.

I hadnt posted in a while. I think I started posting them back in Jan. and I was doing way better than CBB at that time. But, at this time, there was also FB, creating to mamy games and sports to cap out, which eventully lead me to drop it, until later. I havent gotten back in, as I feel that I am not in the grove, or have been keeping up or traking any of the teams. Maybe when I find more time, I will jump back in. Thx CC.

El , thanks and your welcome. Good luck to you in the Tourney. Aloha CC.

Co-Capt,
Do you do this for a living, or is this just a serious hobby? Congrats on your excellent run through the final 7 weeks. This is by far the best I've ever done in Basketball and I owe part of that to your picks. It was always very re-assuring to see a side of a game I liked and check your picks (as well as some others) and see you on it for 6 units. It worked out more times than it didn't I'll tell you that!
That 15-3 run Friday was impressive. I see you had a "market Correction" yesterday, but that will happen.
Contiunued good luck to you in the Ncaa's. It should be fun.

Thanks for the picks. I was just wondering if you liked tonight's NIT matchup with Toledo and Marquette.

Co-Captain....First of all, thanks again for your effort and information here--it's really appreciated.

I was wondering about your Sunday plays. It seems like you've pretty much always stuck to playing sides, to great success. But yesterday, you were coming out with teasers, and half-time plays, and totals (well, one total). Just wondering about your thinking--were you not feeling as confident with your plays on some level, so you thought you'd shake it up a little? Or maybe after your amazing run, you were thinking you'd extend it with teasers, etc., in addition to your straight plays?

I'm asking only because I do appreciate your picks here and am thinking this might spur thinking on your part as to why your methods changed, on a day that didn't go well.

you know, i love ya man -- and your numbers speak for themselves!!! however, i do have a question -- why do you not count the vig? especially when you buy a lot of half points?? not trying to bust your balls -- just wondering -- you still would have a fabulous record, and be up a shit load of units -- it would just eliminate any disingenuousness. thanks my friend.

Vegaswahoo, thanks and Good Luck to you as well, my friend. Aloha CC.

TigerVen,first, Thank you for the compliments, and I hope you success as well. As for your other question, the answer is no. This business for me is another part of how I make my living. I believe that one should not have all their eggs in one basket, and should have multiple ways of making a living, in the event one dissappears, goes down, doesnt work out or materialize, your not left in a unfortunate situation. Plus, even if I feel that I have the ability to be successful enough to do this for a living, I feel that I would be losing to much in ways of whats is really important in life, as this business is a very rough one to be solely dependant on, and does take up alot of time to be successful as well as demand very strict discipline. I enjoy living a well rounded life, and at many times, this business doesnt allow me to do this, and that is not what makes me happy. Still, I do respect all those that can and have been doing this solely for a living, and wish them nothing but total success. Maybe later in life when I have achieved all that I want to achieve and experienced all that is out their for me experience bringing me happiness, I would take a look at jumping into this FT.

Kayaman, Your Welcome. I hope you were able to get my 3 Unit play on Marq and the 2 Unit at the half. If not, I appologize as I posted about 5 mins before the game, due to getting tied up.

Bones13,Thank You and Best of Luck to you as well. Try to keep warm by imagining your surfing with me in Hawaii, or have alot of sex or both to keep warm. lol.

limbo 74, Thank You. Success to me is so much better when we can help others achieve it as well. What good is having a party if everyone else is not in the mood.

Grogan, First, your welcome. I am glad I could help out in some way. Someone once told me it is better to put in more than you take out, that is how you always keep the weel full and rich with value at all times.

hansen bros, I did not forget your question you asked, and will address it in the following post.

CedarCreaker, Thank You very much for the kind words and compliment, I appreciate it very much. I will do my best to continue to be a gentlemen and a professional. Plus, I am here to win and be successful at this and I dont mind helping others get their as well, everything else is just a waste of time and causes you to waste your energies and throw you off your game. Everyone can be negative at times, but it is important to also find balance as well. Those that have nothing better to do and thrive on being this way, I try to avoid as they are like cancer which will only spread with more involvement by others. I totally dont want to be spreading cancer to others, thus promoting the destruction of us all. That is exactly what our enemy, the Man, wants us to do. Watch out for these trouble makers and instigators, as well as those misinformation or door to door salesman selling noting but BS themselves. GL to you All in the Madness, and Aloha CC.

Aloha hansen bros,

Dont worry yourself about me taking what you say the wrong way. You are a very respectful person and speak in a straight and direct manner, and I respect that. You also show me respect as well, and for that I am glad to answer any type of questions or curiosities you might have.

So to answer your question, of why I did not count the vigs in with my records. Well the honest answers is because when I decided to post this record in the first place, it was to simply show the win loss record and units up or down, based on my plays I posted. I dont follow a YTD record or the strict money management systems that others here use, I basically have always gone by what the amounts I had on hand or in my accounts, and did my adjustments based on that. So a YTD record wasnt something I felt I needed to keep track of.

Secondly, with all the different Vig amounts, whether it is on straight bets, buying points, teaser plays, Mls, etc. that I have dealt with this season, I didnt keep a record of these amounts and what games were played for what. And eventhough I could get the records from the books of my exact action played, I wouldn't be able to get it, at this time from the locals I used. Furthermore, when I decided to go back and add up all the wins and losses for the benefit of those few who were questioning it, I surely wasn't going to bust my ass trying to calculate to the exact T all the games with all those different vig amounts and what not, just cause they needed to see a record reflecting it. I put out the most important parts of this record, which is the only parts that everyone could easily verify to be truthful, and that was enough in my eyes.

But, I decided to go one step further reflecting more accuracy, by putting in parantheses "not including vig" at end of my posted records. This I did to show, that for one, this record is only reflecting the wins and losses and units won, and second to eliminate anyones suspicions as to me trying to pad my stats in some way. Which, more than likely eventhough I was to post the record with the vig included, wouldnt stop someone from having suspicions and questioning its authenticity, because there is no way to verify if it was or was not added in, and done accurately. At least this way, I am eliminating all forms of doubt with just posting a record of things everyone can verify, and that is the wins and losses, and the units won and lost. Lastly, I didnt include the vig in, because I was sure that others could estimate based on my record I posted, that even if I included the vig amounts, like you stated, my records would still reflect that my plays were profitable, and that I have provided winners overall.

Those that follow my selections and appreciate the work I put into them know that I have nothing to hide and that there is no reason or need for me to be dishonest in any way. I think anyone can see this by what I try to provide here. So for those that seem to have a problem with how I do things, I could really care less. I dont need to prove anything to them or anyone. I think that what I have provided to everyone here should be proof enough of what my true agenda is, and if they cant see this, then it makes me wonder what their agenda is. Anyways, I hope I did a well enough job of answering you question. Good Luck today and Aloha CC.

WOW!!! awesome answer! the reason i asked is that you always said (vig not included) and i thought you were just opening a door for some of the dickheads out there.

glad to hear that hasn't been a problem. once again, thanks!!!
