Follow the big money or whale plays:

College Hoops Thursday Night:

Temple -1 (Had $23k wager placed on them)

Ohio St. +2.5 (Had $41k wager placed on them)(This is probably smartest money based on the way the percentages are.)

Appalachian St. -3 ( Had $40k wager placed on them)

Troy +8.5 (Had $40k wager placed on them)

Northern Iowa -3 (Had $40k wager placed on them)

Bonus : NBA Plays Follow the big money.....

Memphis +1 ($27K wager placed on them)

Charlotte +4.5 (28k wager placed on them)

Miami -6.5 (Had $26k wager placed on them)

Looks like on these big money bet games if the line moves towards the team with the big wager it covers. If it doesn’t move one way or the other, or if it moves away from them, then the other team covers most of the time. Have to keep watching it.

There are several variables, more than just a large chunk wager.

Looks like Utah had a $35k wager on them and the line moved toward Utah from -2 to -3.5.

So based on the theory above Utah would be a play.

Utah -3.5

Yeah I’ve been wagering for 25 years and I have studied line moves and who has the most cash percentage on them and tickets and have researched it and come up with different systems for it for years. What you will find is that most of these end up going 50% over the long run. You need to know which games the sports books are taking a side on.

Anyways I am just messing with these big whale bet games.

Good luck with your thread. What you are doing with it I have already done for years. Hope you stay hot for awhile but it always comes back.

Isn't my first rodeo either (<)<

I look for several variables. Its not as basic as you may think. Im very selective. We shall see but I definately won't be 50%. Good luck to you.

I look for several variables also and have done what you are doing. I’m not saying you will be 50% lol ... don’t take it the wrong way. Trust me I have studied every cash percentage move and ticket percentage move there is, every line move, how much cash are on each game. I have done all that. I also know sports book directors, I’m just saying anything you can tell me about what you are doing I have already studied it and done it. I wish you luck.

I’m not playing all these games. Like I said before I was tracking whale bets. Some people wanted to know what games had whale bets on them so I posted them. Before tonight those games were 6-1 for the week. So now they are 8-8 between college and NBA. Not something I would play personally. I can keep posting the whale bets though for anybody that wants them.

Gentlemen, I respect you both and your thought processes. Although, I may not have looked at every angle like each of you I have been involved in this game for 30 plus years both recreationally and as an investment strategy to make a living, which thankfully I made work.

What SC says is true about 50%, especially when higher than the midpoint. It holds true to the overwhelming majority of players. It does not mean it happens to every player, which is what L2KA is saying. I have seen more of SC's work looking for angles with some being extremely successful and others not as successful, which he discards quickly.

You have both shown success. Work together and support one another. No need to compete about experience, who has the better variables they follow or who is more successful at the breakdown and of cashing tickets. We are all here to try and win money. For some of us it's all we do, because let's be honest the Corporate World bureaucracy gets really old. At least it did for me.

Enjoy both of you and all of the info you two post. And I know it assists many on the Forum, some with experience and many with not near the experience or access to information each of you provide.

To a great weekend, the upcoming Madness of March, Bases opening up, and the NBA and NHL heading into the Playoffs!

Thanks SeattleCowboy. Thanks Loves2KickAss.

Hey Mosi! Great comments!

I have no problem at all with Loves2KickAss or anyone else. He is a great asset to the forum and gives great picks. I am sure when he came in my thread and said something about there are more variables than big chunk wagers, he was trying to be helpful. I appreciate that and respect it and I might have overreacted a bit and took offense to it since I wasn’t doing the same thing as he is. He seems to be doing the smart money vs. square money thing and being very picky about it, which is a very good strategy if you know which variables to use and put together with online sites.

All I was trying to do, was look at whale bets with lines moves and posting them for people, I wasn’t even doing the smart vs square thing.

I still take a lot of those smart vs square games myself.

Anyways I apologize Loves2KickAss if I overreacted to your comment. All is good! Let’s make some money!

It's all good SC. I understand what you do and how you are trying to help. And know that several have asked you to continue posting certain info because they want to see it. Anyone on this Forum should be a big enough person to look at info and make their own decisions. That is what the site is all about, sharing info.

Anyway, reading through the thread today I felt it escalating bit. Understandably you are both proud of your past and what you have learned to win, and how to help others win when possible. I totally understand. And it is why when I am having the bad stretch I have been having recently it is not only painful to me, but to those I know who ask my opinions. As you and L2KA would concur, I never want to guide anyone to a losing play.

It's all good, I know you to be a positive person with a wealthful of info not everyone has.

Cheers!

Good luck SC. Liked KU ML +108 but wanted to get a feel for the game. Then I caved right away when I was able to grab the Jayhawks live +170 ML when they fell down 5-0. And just grabbed Baylor live +160 down 14-7. Locking in my 600 or 700 profit and just going to enjoy the game. Still rooting for Rock Chalk ~ for my nephew who goes there, and to see you profit. The extra buck is a bonus too.

Have a great day my Friend.

Yes, I "In-Game Wagering" can be extremely profitable with great numbers or it can be extremely destructive to a bankroll. It is the old adage Risk vs. Reward. Some things to understand about In-Game/Live wagering:

- It is best served when you have a side you like in mind already. (i.e. I liked KU +1- and ML +108...When they fell down 5-0 it jumped to +3-/+170.)
- It is useful when you miss the start of a game you liked or simply for a high profile game you are watching and want action on.
- It is extremely time consuming and needs your full attention.
- Do not hang out with others unless they are into the same game. (Not a good thing to do with your significant other in the room.)
- Make sure your connection to your site is solid and fast.
- The delay due to television/streaming. The books, and the "live" scores you see are generally 10-25 seconds ahead of what you are seeing while viewing.
- Lines offered go away fast. So if you see a number you like, hit it.
- If you play the same amount on each Live Play most sites allow to put in a default dollar amount to play - this saves a little time. Again, it moves fast.
- Do not be over confident, have a plan with reasoning. These are super computers utilizing algorithms.
- If you have never done it before i suggest watching a game and line moves to get a feel for how it works and the speed.
- Do not be an idiot, be careful.
- I am certain I forgot several other factors so Google it. I am sure there are many articles posted.
- Good luck
