Colin Cowherd picked 5 Upset games this year before the season

1 was Alabama over Clemson...other was Mich St over Notre Dame but Mstate is actually the fav now and then this game and two others

Here's what he has to say about this game and I quote

"Colorado's third straight home game. They play an easy game the week before against my alma mater (Eastern Washington), and this game kick starts a four-game stretch that's tough for Colorado, and they've got to win the first game. It's a night game out west -- tough for the Mountaineers. Take the Buffalos to win.""

I feel as if I should stay away from this game....but its either Colorado or nothing for me I think

Thanks for the info, but picking Michigan State over ND and Mizzou over Texas are far from upsets. As you noted already on the MSU/ND game, MSU is an 8-9 point fave and I'd imagine Mizzou would be around a TD fave over Texas.

As an LSU fan, it pains me to hear Colin on SC over LSU, but I can see it. That is a road game for LSU sandwiched between a trip to the Swamp and a home game against UGA. It will either be a let-down game or a look-ahead game and I can definitely see them struggling though I hope not.

Those picks aren't really upsets. I guess USC is an upset over LSU, but that depends on who is at home in that game. If USC is at home I'd only make them a 4 point dog, which means it's a fairly even game.

The only one I'd be surprised to see happen is Mizzou beating Texas. If Texas is at home in that one they should be a TD favorite.

I don't think MSU covers vs ND. Notre Dame might even win. It'll depend on if they can stop Javon Ringer obv
