Why is Cole H only -1.10?

What am I missing?

Good teams/good pitchers have killed me over the years as small road favs.

But only 1.10 seems pretty juicy.

This is setting up to be a public bloodbath. I saw line started at -120 and has dropped. Makes no sense. Sure seems Colorado might be the right side. But then again, I'm terrible at gambling. Bol with whatever you choose.

Texas .500 vs lefties

From Stat fox
Left-hander Tyler Anderson, 4-3 with a 3.25 ERA in 10 career starts, will start Monday for the Rockies. He pitched a career-high seven innings in his last outing, earning a win by allowing just two runs on six hits against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday. Anderson's ERA is the lowest for a Rockies starter through 10 starts in franchise history.
He is 4-1 with a 3.32 ERA in seven starts at Coors Field, where he has won each of his past four starts.

Let down spot for Texas off of Houston series win in extras?

I think the Bull Pens decide this game

Not touching this game (yet at least), but to play devils advocate for you...Tyler Anderson has proven he can pitch very effectively at Coors. Hamels has not, other than one start there last year where he pitched 7 very solid. Might be as simple as that. I'm not sure how much weight you want to put into 7 inning from over 14 months ago.

Both teams hit lefties particularly well. But Coors is Coors. Most metrics indicate the Rangers have been particularly lucky this season. Only a +4 run differential but 18 games over .500. (Doesn't mean "luck" is regressing this game.)

Also, Rangers coming off a huge, grinding series where they take 2 of 3 from Astros including an emotional game in extras. Can they keep that going for an interleague series at Colorado?? (Personally, I don't put too much stock into that but may factor in.)

Getting Hamels at -110 is a steal. Bigger steal is the under 10.5 imo. GL

Well now at -1.30. Making a bit more sense. Looks like the early pickers got a bargain.

It just stood out to me this morning. No telling how many small rd favs I've taken in CBB and CFB. BURNED. I had Darvish last week. Same scenario. Small rd fav. BURNED.

FWIW. Am here in Dallas. Will go home. Sit in AC comfort. And while I didn't bet Tex, will pull for all you Ranger backers tonight all the while hoping that our power doesn't go out like it did Saturday night. In case you non-Texans don't know. 10pm here in August it's still 92-97 outside.

4 game series with 1st 2 in Colorado and last 2 in Texas ... should be toasty for the last 2.
