I wouldn't sell anything of value on craiglist just because I would be scared of getting robbed.......now I'm talking about expensive stuff like a $5,000 coin collection, jewelry, etc......

Anything over $100 and I avoid eBay, I only sell on eBay what I could afford to lose. Once the item is sent, the buyer can nitpick and do a whole bunch of other things to the coin and screw you over in the end. When you sell it in person, once you have the cash the transaction is over and you are free to do with it how you please.
