I finally got around to watching it last night. It was a decent movie, but I could have done with less of the pointless animation and more interviews. And i could have done with less of the music videos that made it drag on for too long. I don't know if it's more stupid or sad when Cobain wanted to make $3 million and then become a junkie. Either way it was "crazy" and he fulfilled his sick dream. I'll give Nirvana credit, the MTV segment was excellent even though Cobain was pretty much done by then. You could tell in the home video footage how skinny he had become from the drug abuse. Which explains the amount of layers of baggy clothes he wore during that MTV segment. Oddly enough the parts that really got me were the childhood videos where he seemed happy and makes you wonder where it all started to go wrong. The apartment stuff was hard to watch. Courtney Love is a fucking train wreck, and I don't hate her any less after watching that. All in all not bad, and mostly very watchable. I would give it a 7/10. I'm sure die hard fans of Nirvana would rate it higher..
