Get a band of hot cheer-leaders. Preferably, the blonde ones. Sell them out to the kids after each win. Then, trade them for new ones. Keep with the supply/demand. You'll be a successful coach for sure.
get a teaching degree first....Ive been a high school assistant coach and 9th grade head coach....Wildcat Coach on here was a high school football head coach
become an assistant first, soak up knowledge...go to clinics, read books, watch coaching dvd's....start small, start coaching in junior high first to get your feet wet
I'm pretty sure Mike Leach never played football and was practicing Law when he left his career to become a volunteer football coach. It took him awhile but look at him now. Coaching in the Pac 12 and the guy never played football, pretty amazing. I'm pretty sure Gene Keady never played as well. Go for it and good luck!
