Under hot, Twins cold with this ump behind the plate


The Minnesota Twins aren't happy to see Paul Schrieber calling balls and strikes for Sunday's matchup against the Chicago Cubs, having lost seven straight games when he is behind home plate.


Under bettors bettors on the other hand are happy, with the under going 6-0 in Schrieber's last six games calling balls and strikes.


The Twins and starter Kyle Gibson are currently +107 home dogs against the Cubs' Jake Arrieta. The total is currently at 8.0 runs.

Pirates streaking against lefty starters


The Pittsburgh Pirates have won seven consecutive games against left-handed starters and have done so in dominating fashion, outscoring their opponents 35-5 in those games.


The Pirates and right-hander Charlie Morton (5-0, 1.62 ERA) face lefty Gio Gonzalez (4-4, 4.82 ERA) and the Washington Nationals this Sunday afternoon, where the Pirates are slight +108 road dogs.

The numbers say avoid the Philadelphia Phillies if you can for their Sunday afternoon matchup with the St. Louis Cardinals.
