“The city of Dallas, the fans, the players, they’ll always have a special place in my heart. I thought I was going to stay there forever, but I didn’t. So that will always be a special place for me. But just trying to move on and focus on what I’m doing here.”
Luka Doncic

— Wednesday night at Oregon State, Beavers were tied 64-64 vs North Texas with 0:05 left; UNT had the ball- they called timeout, but they didn’t have a timeout, so Oregon State made the foul shots and won a game they trailed 59-46 with 7:11 left, 64-57 with 2:10 left.

— Cal Raleigh hit 60 home runs this year as a switch-hitting catcher, playing home games in a ballpark that is a lousy hitter’s park, but he didn’t win MVP, Aaron Judge did.
Judge is a great player, no doubt, but Raleigh led Seattle to its first division title in over 20 years; if he did what he did in New York, he might’ve been a unanimous MVP.

— Dodgers have won the last two World Series; they have $87M coming off their payroll this winter, which will allow them to re-stock the shelves with some more good players, and they generally get whoever they want in free agency.
