Once he saw how many people sided with Vitterd's explanation of regression, he lost all faith in a higher power.

Well that definitely could be true, but I'm not going to get into that again.

I actually was in the process of finding God, but then you asked me if Popovich would take the bet with Doc Rivers if it was based on the spread rather than straightup. Then I said fuck it.

LMAO .... Kudos!

I used to defend CNN to a point. My "default" news channel is CNN. Not because of the panel "discussions" but because they always get to a breaking story first and with the most depth. If something happens in Turkey at midnight eastern CNN will be on it by 12:07 while MSNBC is showing Lockup reruns from 2008 and Fox an earlier episode of Greta. But as far as political reporting goes in the US CNN just keeps moving Left. That makes it tougher to watch. I like Smerconish though.

[h=2]Apple App Store and Google Play users are taking their displeasure out on CNN and other news sites by giving the companies’ mobile apps one star reviews, citing the outlets’ liberal bias.[/h]According to Digiday, in the last few weeks CNN has been hit by a wave of one star reviews, with over half of these reviews accusing the company of having a liberal bias.

Other targeted publishers include Mic, Quartz, and USA Today, who have also been slammed by users upset over the companies’ biases, with two-thirds of reviews on USA Today citing its liberal leanings.
Due to the fact that CNN’s app is well established and has received thousands of reviews over a number of years, the negative reviews haven’t had a significant impact on the the app’s overall rating.
However, for recently released apps such as Mic’s, which was launched two weeks ago, the negative reviews are having a greater affect on the average rating.

“Low reviews affect the ranking of an app in the top charts, which decreases app discoverability and, in turn, means fewer downloads, which would continue driving them further down the top charts,” said Amir Ghodrati, a director of market insights at the app analytics business App Annie.

[h=2]CNN has apologized after a network crew was caught on tape joking about President-elect Donald Trump’s plane crashing before a live shot on Thursday.[/h]While setting up for Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence’s press conference from Carrier headquarters in Indianapolis, a producer is heard offscreen joking with CNN on-air reporter Suzanne Malveaux about the possibility of Trump’s plane crashing.
“That means his plane’s crashed,” the producer tells Malveaux while discussing possible hand signals to aid the network’s coverage. “No, I’m kidding.”

The video was first obtained by TV news website FTVLive.com’s Scott Jones.
In a statement Friday, CNN apologized for the joke and said the producer, who has not been identified, had been disciplined.

“An unfortunate and inappropriate remark was made by one of our producers off camera yesterday,” the network said. “We have apologized to the Trump transition team, and the producer has been disciplined.”
Trump was in Indianapolis Thursday to discuss his agreement with Carrier, which will keep more than 1,000 jobs in the United States after the air conditioner and appliance company reversed course on moving the jobs to Mexico.
Earlier this week, Trump rebuked CNN on Twitter, saying he thought the network’s coverage of him would improve after the election, only to find it had gotten “worse.”
“.@CNN is so embarrassed by their total (100%) support of Hillary Clinton, and yet her loss in a landslide, that they don’t know what to do,” Trump wrote.

CNN is now even further left than MSNBC.

In a Wall Street Journal piece investigating the sweeping “ratings bonanza” that CNN has had in the 2016 election cycle, Jeff Zucker admitted that perhaps in the past the network has ostracized some viewers with its coverage. “I think it was a legitimate criticism of CNN that it was a little too liberal,” Zucker conceded.

[h=2]During a listening session for Black History Month on Wednesday, President Donald Trump said, “I don’t watch CNN. … I don’t like watching fake news.”[/h] Trump said, “You read all about Dr. Martin Luther King a week ago, when somebody said I took the statue out of my office, and it turned out that that was fake news. The statue is cherished. It’s one of the favorite things in the — and we have some good ones. We have Lincoln, and we have Jefferson and we have Dr. Martin Luther King, and we have –, but they said the statue, the bust of Dr. Martin Luther King was taken out of the office, and it was never even touched. So, I think it was a disgrace, but that’s the way the press is, very unfortunate.”
He added, “I don’t watch CNN. … I don’t like watching fake news…but Fox has treated me very nice, wherever fox is, thank you.”
