Interesting Test to see if Political Warfare will prove to be a Ratings Grabber.

Tripping and made this thread cuz this is a TRIP. Apparently the Campaign Debates did well in ratings so CNN is gonna go back to that Well.

Intelligence does not always win the debate but if it did, Ted would crush the mental midget that is Bernie Sanders.

Arnold should try moderating the debate. Only way he can get the ratings that Trump prays for him to achieve.

They should've done this during the primaries though. Would've been good exposure for both.

Teddy ballgame will destroy him

Damn Straight. Sanders gonna be stuttering stammering turning bright red like he's holding his breath then take his dentures out his mouth and hurl them at Rafael then try and club Rafa with his Cane but he'll miss and fall to the floor which'll cause shrieks then pandemonium and Paramedics to rush the stage.

Thats an Excellent Idea. I'd LOVE to see Ahnold moderate this thing. Even though I can only understand 4 out of every 6 words Ahnold Says and I hate how he talks like a Robot who's battery is low.

If we're being honest, Bernie gets waxed by Trump. I read some of the opposition research on Bernie, it would have been brutal for him.

Not likely.....the way Bernie looks on tv and comes across on tv is worst part for him. Trump debates were just like his campaign speeches....playing to his supporters and lacking any real substance

This is from Newsweek.

Here are a few tastes of what was in store for Sanders, straight out of the Republican playbook: He thinks rape is A-OK. In 1972, when he was 31, Sanders wrote a fictitious essay in which he described a woman enjoying being raped by three men. Yes, there is an explanation for it—a long, complicated one, just like the one that would make clear why the Clinton emails story was nonsense. And we all know how well that worked out.

Then there’s the fact that Sanders was on unemployment until his mid-30s, and that he stole electricity from a neighbor after failing to pay his bills, and that he co-sponsored a bill to ship Vermont’s nuclear waste to a poor Hispanic community in Texas, where it could be dumped. You can just see the words “environmental racist” on Republican billboards. And if you can’t, I already did. They were in the Republican opposition research book as a proposal on how to frame the nuclear waste issue.
Also on the list: Sanders violated campaign finance laws, criticized Clinton for supporting the 1994 crime bill that he voted for, and he voted against the Amber Alert system. His pitch for universal health care would have been used against him too, since it was tried in his home state of Vermont and collapsed due to excessive costs. Worst of all, the Republicans also had video of Sanders at a 1985 rally thrown by the leftist Sandinista government in Nicaragua where half a million people chanted, “Here, there, everywhere/the Yankee will die,’’ while President Daniel Ortega condemned “state terrorism” by America. Sanders said, on camera, supporting the Sandinistas was “patriotic.”

All of that is weak sauce and was unlikely to detour the left and anti-establishment people from rallying around Bernie in a general election. If grab em by the pussy audio 10 years ago didn't work, some obscure rape essay from 40 years ago in college undergrad would've been a desperation reach.

You think any of this comes up in the debate?

no one beat Trump

Clinton beat him badly .....probably one of the reasons she got 3 million more votes. But Trump supporters will never understand how poorly prepared he was for those debates. All they hear is " you'd be locked up if I was president" and they think that's a win

That's the old "Falcons played a better game than the Pats, but the Pats won"....blah blah blah....and while I agree Trump wasn't great, thinking "she" was great is crazy.....saying the same thing she and most other politicians have been saying for YEARS does NOT qualify as great, good or even kinda good...."It's a vast right wing conspiracy".....TIRED!
