Second, in the middle of an offshore drilling debate, they produce and air a documentary about the Exxon Valdez accident, and the environmental damage it caused. I thought that was a drunken Captain's error, didn't know it was about drilling. Don't think that shipping activity decreases if we don't drill either. While I was watching, didn't see anything about how quickly man & nature cleaned the spill and how much the damages were overstated.

Third, in the middle of an energy debate, they present their documentary on how putting air in your tires saves gas.

This difference is especially important in the debate pertaining to media bias.

A news show that fancies itself to be unbiased should report the facts in an objective manner, merely presenting the facts without interpretation.

An opinion oriented show is not held to the same standards, the viewers should know the hosts have inherent bias, and should expect interpretation.

Thus, shows such as H & C on Fox or Countdown with KO on MSNBC are not held to the same standards of objectivity as the hosts of the nightly news programs.

Because Obama gave a speech where he was suggesting we fill up our tires, but little else on energy policy. McCain was quick to jump on this energy policy, and CNN is obviously covering his bleeding ass for him.
