CNN: Grenade Attack on U.S. Troops in Kuwait

KUWAIT (Reuters) - A grenade attack on a command tent of the U.S. 101st Airborne Division in Kuwait wounded at least eight soldiers, six of them seriously, a U.S. journalist with the unit told CNN on Sunday.
The journalist said two grenades had been rolled into the command tent, in what appeared to be a "terrorist attack."

This is terrible news, luckily there have been no reports of death so far.

I am a little confused to how soldiers being attacked during a war constitutes "terrorism" though.

They just said something on CNN about a U.S. soldier in custody in connection with the attack.
This shit's just getting uglier.

Very true. The first day of the campaign, one of CNN's reporters who was covering the events live with one of the camps, really gave me a laugh. He went to the tune of :

The American soldiers I can tell you, are extremely outraged right now. A missle was fired, intended at them, but of course luckily it went astray. However, I could tell you that their eyes really lit up with anger and courage, and you could only begin to wonder how much will and courage these soldiers will displaly in combat. "

This is supposed to be a cakewalk. I can only imagine how this military would do when faced with a real military threat.

Camera's, live coverage, video phone, webcams and such really make this war look trivial, and like a game. Yet once one American soldier is injured, a serious tone takes over.
