Hey Macro Wiz, Havana Mike, and all otheer fans of Atlantis, I just drove by and it is closed like the girlss said. Who wants to celebrate! And who can tell me who this ex security is, if anyone knows him or how to reach him tell him to log on, hes a hero! Quite a few people want to buy him a drink. Did anyone record the beating??? Would pay anything to see the pig bitch slapped. HA HA HA

Meh, I never really care about merchant squabbles as a consumer.
Like when affiliates get the shaft from a gambling site and diss it. Why would a consumer care? And I'm not sorry I sound selfish, I'm the only one that looks after me, so why would I look after someone else?
I've had good times at Atlantis. Haven't been there in a while though.
Strip clubs here tend to be like social media sites. They need critical mass to survive. You need the girls to get the clients. You need the clients to get the girls. And you need to maintain the right ratio of girls/clients. So it is a delicate balance. And if it dips to any side then the business is fucked. And the reason is, once it dips, it becomes a negative spiral.
Worse, because on the historical instability and risk of running a business that breaks social taboos, every strip club in this country is bound to fall out of being the #1. The most they can hope for is a few years of being CRs #1. Of course, they can go back to being #1, but it takes some hyping up to do. Get people exited, coming in all guns blazing so they catch the critical mass to be #1... until they fall, and someone else takes their place.

His name is Christian, He's good people... He has a security company that covers a few things. Hasn't had very good luck with his clients though. Atlantis, Prive, Whitehouse, etc...
Luckily, I was only burned for a few hundred bucks with them. Christian got hit for a few grand from Atlantis. Lots of money for a Tico trying to make an honest buck...

Amazing how delusional people are in Costa Rica including Scott. Atlantis, Tango India, Lip Stick and Hollywood are all the same; serious clip joints. Ive dealt with them in the past with the same results. Brought them business and got nothing in return. They approached me again to help them start a new venture, but I left the meeting knowing Id never get paid for what I did. I don't harbor ill feelings toward him or anyone involved though. If people are dumb enough to waist money at Atlantis who can blame Scott for thinking it would go on forever. The bottom lines is this, doing business in Costa Rica is difficult at best. Dealing with a partner is even harder so be careful. Make sure you check out who your dealing with Mike.

These clubs you listed could all be 'clip joints', but they don't have to be. They are what you make of them. Personally I've had some good times in all those places. If you want to see a real 'clip joint', go to Vegas and you can spend thousands without touching more than a few titties. My new favorite place is the new remodeled Elite D'Palufos. Of course dumb tourists can get clipped anywhere, the same way squares get clipped by the books.
I hear what your saying world. I never said I didn't have fun in these places, and I have. They are what they are and Scott is what he is. They are clip joints just as much as Vegas is. Other spots are way better and much less costly in San Jose. I remember when Elite was one of the worse of all those listed above. Great to see things have changed.

DONT know you personally but I need to tell you on behalf of all the girls I know from ATLANTIS (EX ATLANTIS) that you are a hero to them, they are celebrating! also in the SB business quite a few people know the Bates as white trash trying to sell fake licenses and pretending to hotshots so from all in the industry thank you for fucking him up, well deserved, I hope you didn't get too dirty in the process. If you get a chance do the same to his meth addict son.
