Many of them share my exact feelings as do alot of Americans. You are the one in the minority here ( no pun intended) but in your mind, being in the minority is where its at.

No it is not a marketing ploy....there are some towns near me having issues and have banned clown costumes at certain events.

Our neighborhood had one of those clown sightings. You know what happened 2 dads came out, got in their car, chased them down and kicked their asses. pretty much solved that problem. Love my neighborhood.
