I'm new to the game so maybe like 10 races I have had money on before at the most. Maybe less than 10 races

I had classic empire singled in the pick 4 for $500 and thought the same. Very gutty race from classic empire. He has shown a ton of grit in his last couple races. A very good animal. Race was for sure a good one.

I'm never gonna bash anyone for picking a winner, but exactly what made anyone think that horse could win other then a lucky guess? His resume coming in was 2 losses by a lot to horses who got absolutely spanked in the Derby.
