Closed on my 1st House today!

Pretty excited. Took years of saving, and 1 year of searching, but we got a beauty. Closing was a piece of cake, and all that's left is lots of packing and unpacking.

Its 4 bed 2.5 bath, 2200 sq ft on half an acre. Has a large sunroom and a nice deck w/ an outdoor kitchen. Oh yeah, its on a golf course as well.

Located near Saratoga Springs, in upstate NY

Heck yea. The house I own is very comparable in size (4 bdrms plus den, 2.5 baths, 2150 sq. ft). My yard is not nearly as big.

I would trade him straight up. I bet I paid far more for mine as well.

Unfortunately it is. Actually thinking about it now, it is almost 4 years since I bought my house.

The good news? I didnt buy at the peak of the market. Those folks are 200k in the hole.

Thats no joke or exageration.
