Just put it in and got +165. Actually surprised I got that good of a price this late in the playoffs.

Had the same gut feeling about Denver as I do Cleveland.

thats insane to get them at that price this late..my buddy got them at plus 280 i believe, before the play offs started

Damn, I know hind sight is 20-20, but these dudes basically had a bye through the east.

I had the same thoughts coming into the season (that the competition for the Cavs in the East was nonexistent) so I locked in +300 in late November thinking it couldn't possibly get higher than that and at the very least I'd have an opportunity to hedge out if desired. That being said, I'll probably just ride it out as has been the plan. I've suffered enough wagering against LeBron in the past so I'll take my chances tailing him at least once.

I don't think so BossMan, Cleveland has waited a whole year for this.

They can wait another year. Did they break the regular season record for wins ?

Don't "homer" me my friend. Cleveland had injury issues during the regular season. They are much more physical than the Warriors. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the Cavs in 6, but then I placed a 5K wager on the Cavs to win it all so I gotta hang. Get ready, we're about to tee it up again.

Homer my ass! Nobody guves the dubs the credit they are due. They are the best TEAM in the nba and will prove the doubters wrong again. Steph is mvp because he makes his team better. Your boy divides teams and gets coaches fired.

I don't have a "boy," other than Benji, LOL. You forget where I live now??? Curry is King here. With Love and Irving in the line-up this go-around, I'm saying, AND betting, the Cavs get it done.

PS: Middled that game last night, don't know how 5 Ho's let the second bet through. Had OKC +8+ and the Dubs -5+. Crazy shit.

Great value on clev.

Kerr has 72 hours to figure out a way to destroy kevin love on defense. There will no excuses for lebron when he loses in the finals, again. My God, has a team ever had an easier road to the finals?

The same Stephen A. Smith being trashed in another thread had an interesting tidbit on today's "First Take." No NBA MVP has ever lost 5 NBA Finals. James has lost four.

Full disclaimer, I've been a Warriors fan since before they drafted Hardaway to complete Run TMC but I still don't think the dubs are getting the credit they deserve.

Kerr has 72 hours to figure out a way to destroy kevin love on defense.

Kerr figured out how to destroy Love long ago. Pretty sure every coach in the NBA knows how to destroy Love. Not every team has the players to carry this out. The Dubs do.

Cleveland has waited a whole year for this.

The Warriors have been waiting too. They haven't forgetten about the Cavs blabbing on about the Dubs being lucky the Cavs weren't healthy.

after game 7:
“We’re pretty excited to go play them again because of everything that was said after we won last year, that they weren’t full strength."
- Joe Lacob
Owner not a player, I know, but I'm sure his thoughts reflect those of the players.

Having said that, I do acknowledge that the Cavs are dangerous and perfectly capable of pulling off the upset if the Dubs get too lax or carried away by their showmanship... but after the WCF (and particularly WCF game 1), they'll be on notice. Fatigue may be a factor too, as someone previously mentioned that the Cavs pretty much have had a bye to this point, but you can also argue that the step up in competition after this "bye" may be too much.

As for the Cavs being healthy now. I felt, at the time, that the Dubs would've had an easier time beating them last Finals if Love and Kyrie would've been healthy. They were a weaker defensive team with those two and the loss of Kyrie in particular threw everything off for a few games. Remember Dellevadova's turn in the spotlight? The Cavs had no choice but to muck it down at that point and the change in pace/style actually hurt the Dubs for a few game.. until they figured it out (and won 3 straight). I do acknowledge that this Cavs team is markedly better overall than last year's Cavs team (and the Cavs team from earlier this season) and they did add Channing Frye specifically for this matchup... but I guess my point is, the Warriors match up well (on both ends of the floor) with a full and healthy Cavs squad.

Anyway, I'll stop blabbing.

May the best team win. I really do hope that the NBA, refs, Nike, whomever got the money and power stay out of it and let the teams battle it out fair and square.

They dont get any way near the credit they deserve. Kerr wins coach of the year and all you hear is he didnt deserve. Steph wins mvp and everybody cries it should have been Lebron. I have said this before Curry makes his team better and Lebron divides his. Look on this forum just for one example all the talk is what great value cleveland is and how they will win.

The consensus on the main board seemed to be that GS will roll. The consensus opinion is GS should win, but just acknowledge that a team with LeBron and shooters has a punchers chance.

You really think the Warriors are the Patriots of the NFL or something? I would say of all the top tier teams in my lifetime that they've been the least polarizing or hated or whatever. Maybe Chicago was less polarizing because people loved MJ and maybe the Spurs because they were just viewed as boring and no one cared about them. But Shaq/Kobe Lakers, Pistons, Kobe-Pau, Celtics with KG and the Heat I would say all were significantly more hated than the Warriors.

Curry is one of the more liked pro athletes I can remember. Especially in this day and age where everyone finds something wrong with you.

Y'all were -450 vs OKC, how much were respect you need?
