I LIKE:
Orlando +9
Over 184
Public has been ALL OVER Clev.. but line went from Orlando +9 to +8.5...
THE FUCK? Seems like a trap to me... Vegas knows whatsup. Lets look at the matchups
Cleveland Does not match up well against Orlando.
Last meeting: 4/3/09... Orlando 116, Clev 87
Last meeting @ Clev: Clev 97, Orlando 93
NOTE: Both games without Jameer.
Ok, Orlando is not gonna come out spank Clev by 30
But even when Clev won @ home it took a 43 point, 12 reb, 8 assist effort by Lebron. Is he capable of doing that again. of course. Will he do that again? I would say its not that likely.
HOnestly... look at the Magic/Celts series... what it took from this was Dwight emerged, clearly, as the team leader.. finally ready to fill those shoes jameer left him. Once again... I'm not gonna list data... but in the 3 match ups against Clev this year.. Dwight has torn up "BIG" Z (lololol). Now we are in the playoffs.. dwight as asked for the ball. Stan Van Gundy has made sure he gets the ball.. Put 2 and 2 together here guys. I see dwight getting and MAKING A STATEMENT beyond great numbers. Dwight is no longer the funny guy we see in the comercials. He's ready to not only get down to business but prove that he can play with the big boys. We must keep in mind that Clev does have Big Ben Wallace.. but he has beent seeing the minutes.
Yes i'm aware Clevland is some rid 11-0-1 ATS in last 12 games.
BUT...
Orlando is 10-1 ATS in their last 11 meetings
Additionally Courtney Lee will be, at the very least, healthIER, after taking that falcon punch from Dwight... Their top perimeter defender.. Lee, with Dwight on the inside, should make it hard, even for LBJ.
The Rest factor... I really just see this a coin flip... Rest can be good and keep your legs fresh or rest and take you off your game.... hard to cap this IMO. What do y'all feel in this situation??
I know, I know.. i hate taking overs in the playoffs too (unless its boston/chicago)... I know cleveland plays F-en amazing D at home and in general.. and Orlando is a defensively orientied team as well...
But, just like with Lakers/Nugs... lets look at history:
4/3/09: 203 total
3/17/09: 190 total
1/29/09: 187 total
4/5/08: 187 total
3/17/08: 194 total
2/11/09: 229 total
...
we have to go back to 1/22/07 to get a total under 184... a 169..
I don't know I'm really on the fence on this one... Two teams feeling each other out in game 1 + playoff mentality defense does lead to unders... Hard for me to say...
How y'all feel? Lets figure this ouT!!!!!
